The Truth

Natsu's POV

"Can we eat now, I'm starving," I complained.

"Didn't you just eat?" Lucy asked. Searching the ground for the plant.

"Yeah but looking for things makes me hungry," I pouted. It's been about two days since we started looking for the plant. Gray and Erza split off from Lucy and I, we went searching somewhere else. Happy went to the nearest lake to go find fish.

"Natsu are you even trying to look for the plant," lucy complained. She stopped and turned to me with her arms crossed.

"Yeah I was just taking a little break that's all," I shrugged her question off. She huffed and continued looking.

The wind suddenly picked up, causing Lucy to shiver a little. I walked away from where Lucy was. Happy returned with something in his hand but it wasn't fish.

Did you catch any fish?" I asked.

"No" he frowned,"But I did find that plant everyone was looking for." He put the plant down showing me and Lucy.

"It smells funny," Lucy put her hands over her nose.

"Happy, go find Erza and Gray and tell then that we have the plant so we can get outta here," I stated.

"Aye sir," he replied.

"Now I can pay my rent," Lucy said. She sat down next to a tree. I could tell she was thinking about something important.

"What are you thinking about?" I asked in curiosity, sitting down next to her.

"I'm just thinking about a story my mom told me when I was little, about a dragon queen and princess. How they disappeared one day." Lucy explained.

"Hmm, I think Igneel told me that story more than once," putting my hand on my chin trying to remember the story. "But how does your mom know a story about dragons?"

"I don't know," she shrugged. "Maybe someone told her and she told me."

Tagatac's POV

I can see the princess through the bushes. I guess you can say I'm stalking her. She looks amazing even though it's been a long time since the last time I seen her.

"Have you found this supposed princess?" The Kings nobleman asked.

"Y-yes I found her she is right over there," I stuttered, pointing at her sitting next to a spiky pink haired man.

He looked up at the girl in complete shock and paused.

"Are you convinced that she is the lost princess?" I asked him mockingly.

He stood there, gazing at her, he looked frozen almost. He smiles deviously.

"Well damn, would you look at that," he snickers. "Come on I have to report this to King Fabian."

"What is he planning to do with the princess?" I ask.

His devilish smile sends chills down my spin.

"Don't get mad because you asked for it," he began. "When was king Fabian was a prince his father was the one who attacked the royal dragon family.

The Kings father and Queen Layla were the only dragons in history to change from dragon to human and anyone they wished to be human as well.

So durning the invasion of Queen Layla's home his father turned all his troops into humans, for easy entrance. His objective was to kidnap the newly born princess, turn her evil and have her marry his son. So when king Axel tired to save his family, he mad a deal with King Fabians father. The deal was that 'if' the dragon princess were to ever return or be found she would have to marry King Fabian, but that was before they took over the dragon kingdom." He finishes laughing like a mad man.

I clenched my fists in anger. I could feel my blood temperature rise. I look over my shoulder to see the princess laughing with that man. Her laugh makes me calm down a little.

"And that's the truth," the nobleman said while slapping me on the back of my head.

"So what's king Fabian's power anyway," I'm still looking toward the princess' direction.

"He can manipulate anything that's not a dragon. For instance since we aren't in our dragon form he can manipulate us into doing whatever he wants." He stated.

Lucy's POV

I can feel someone or something staring at me. I don't want to alert Natsu since me and him are having a good time. He's telling me stupid jokes making me laugh at them.

"You ok Luce?" He asks in a concerned voice.

"Yeah... I'm fine," I replied. Not wanting to tell him about the presents I'm sensing.

Right before Natsu could get another word out Happy, Gray and Erza are walking toward us.

"So you have acquired the plant," Erza asks.

"Sure do," Natsu replies.

"Alright then let's get outta here before a monster attacks us," Gray blurts out.

"Let's go," I urge.

I don't know what it is but ever since I got to this Forrest I think someone has been watching me and it's not a monster. The magic energy is too strong to be a monster. Maybe I will shake this feeling when I get home.
