Tim's POV
I am strolling in the Moonlight pack Alpha's office worried about the Alpha's decisions. Being the acting Alpha, I have to make some drastic decisions. This seat calls for a high level of responsibility and hardwork. I decide to double the security at the boders. I give strict orders to the worriors that any rogue passing within two miles near the boder must be executed. More worries are also added to patrol at the periphery of the Moonlight pack.
We cannot take any more chances after what happened to Dante.
I've already spoken to Daniel about training the pack members. I'm impressed to say that every pack member is training double. Our worriors are doing an excellent job. No wonder the Moonlight pack has a very strong army.
The elder children have fighting lessons which are quite important, even to the pack itself.
Our witches Florida and Jane have been casting spells at the boders to prevent any sudden attacks. The magic keeps away every enemy. I make sure to send out trackers to get information regarding the hunters and so far we have some useful links to the hunters. The only thing I have to do now is to strategize on a war. In any case things go wrong.
Flora has not given us any vision yet but I hope she will, soon. Overall, the pack is running smoothly and everyone is safe at the moment.
I stroll around 'my' office, I look outside to the fields and I'm impressed as I see all pack members training in their human forms. I'm glad the vaccines we injected them with are working well with their bodies. They are becoming more and more resistant to wolfsbane.
The pack gym is quite busy lately and I'm glad most pack members are working out. I watch as Daniel shoots some men with wolfsbane but it doesn't actually affect them. This brings a smile to my face because I know how important this is. It's going to be easier to deal with hunters. This is not the strongest pack for no reason. The efforts of every pack member and their dedication tells it all.
It's past midnight now and I'm still cooped up in the office, Tester who has now joined me is sitting idly watching me walk restlessly around the room.
A knock on the door disrupts both of us who are busy doing nothing. I sigh and look at Tester who gets up from his seat and opens the door.
Xavier gets in looking unhappy and glum. "How is everything going on Tim?" He asks while looking at the files scattered all over the wooden table.
"I'm glad everything is running smoothly. The only thing that's been bothering me is how the Alpha is going on." I say and watch silently as Tester nods and pats me on the shoulder as a consolation. All of us sit in the unoccupied chairs and appear to be in deep thoughts and anxious of the unseen future of our Alpha.
