Kidnapped (Part 1)

Mumbo's POV

I was sitting in my base, looking for an extra shulker box of fireworks, when I heard a strange noise. It sounded like a phantom mixed with a ghast.

I stood up, and put on my diamond armor. I slowly approached the edge of my base, and it went dark.

I woke up in a strange room, only lit with one redstone torch. I looked around the room. There was mossy cobblestone everywhere, and cobwebs in every corner.

I looked at the end of the room, and noticed a long hallway. I stood up, but immediately fell back down. I looked at my hands and feet. I was chained to the wall.

I thought fast. I looked at the materials in my inventory. Two redstone repeaters, five redstone dust, a dispenser, the redstone torch from the wall, and...... a stack of TNT!

I could make a redstone clock to shoot  the TNT at the cuffs, but I had to be sure to not aim it at myself.

I started to panick. Then I thought the reason why I became a redstone engineer. I have skills. I can do this.

I finally got out of the chains, and left a giant hole where I was sitting. I was at one heart! I cleaned up the redstone because I could use it later.

I walked down the hallway slowly. Suddenly, I hear disc 11 start playing. I stop in my tracks. I hear footsteps.

Clamp. Clamp. Clamp. Clamp.

I see two shadowy figures pop out from the end of the hallway. I squint to try and see what the figures are.

The figures start moving toward me. They move fast, almost sprinting. I don't know what to do. I scramble for a piece of TNT and grab my redstone torch. The two figures are already a few yards away.

I fall back as the TNT explodes. I am at half a heart. The figures come into the light, and I see that they are... Cub and Scar?

"Scar? Cub? Are you guys trapped here too?" I asked, happy to see a familiar face.

They were silent.

"Guys?" I started to get anxious.

They walked towards me. I could hear my heart beating at one million beats per second.

They reached out for me. I crawled into the corner, thinking about everything I never got to do.

I always wanted to rid the chickens of my base. I always wanted to find out who poultry man is. *COUGH* NOT GRIAN *COUGH* I... I never got to tell Grian I love him!

Just then, they got pulled back, and a figure in a red shirt and blonde hair knocked them out.

"Mumbo? Are you alright?" I looked up.

"Grian!" I quickly got up and wrapped my arms around him.

"Hey it's ok. Let's go back to my base and get you cleaned up."

I pulled away from the smaller man. I looked into his eyes and my heart fluttered. "Gri..."

"Ssshhh" he took my hand and dug out of the damp cave.

When we got up to the surface, I finally understood what had happened. We were standing in the Concorp/Convex headquarters.
