Season 7

Setting: Beginning of S7. Everyone has just went their separate ways to start off.

Grian's POV

I started punching trees, excited for the start of my second season on hermitcraft.

I was thinking about my plans for my base this season. I kinda wanted to share a base with someone. One of the closest hermits to me.

Then, it came to me. Mumbo. Of course! Mumbo would be happy to room with me!

I quickly gathered my starting iron gear, and went out to find the moustached man.

I watched Mumbo's Episode 0, and saw that he was in the shopping district.

I quickly ran to where it was on the map, and found him instantly.

"Hey Mumbo!" I called.

"Oh hey Gri! How's the start of the season been for you so far?"

"Oh it's been good. Got full iron." I replied. "Anyways, the reason I came here is because I kinda want to share a base with someone this season."

"Oh? And who might that be?" Mumbo said with a grin.

I smiled. "I was kinda sorta hoping you would share a base with me..."

"Of course I will Gri! You're my best friend!"

"So what kind of style should we go for?" I said.

3RD PERSON POV

Mumbo and Grian started making plans for the base, and went out to gather materials. *THEY CAME BACK AND STARTED BUILDING*

Mumbo's POV

Grian and I agreed to build on separate sides of the build, and meet up at the middle.

We were building for about 2 hours, and I felt someone bump into me. We both fell over and I rolled on top of Grian.

"Hey," I said.

"Hey," he said.

I got off of him and helped him up.

I took a look at the build and he followed my glance.

"Wow" he said.

I looked at him. "Yeah..."

We looked at each other. We were very close. We were best friends... could we be more???

Grian leaned in closer to me, closing the distance between us, and kissed me softly. I didn't pull away and kissed him back. I slowly separated from his soft lips, remembering what happened between me and Jevin last season.

Jevin had confessed that he had liked me since Season 2, and we started a minor relationship. I felt guilty kissing someone else while Jevin liked me.

"What's wrong?" Grian asked.

"Oh its nothing... just..." I muttered

"Just... what?"

"MUMBO! HOW COULD YOU?!"

I whipped my head around to see a man in a white sweater standing there.

I froze. "Jevin..."

I looked at Grian and felt extremely guilty. I had dragged him into something that I shouldn't have.

"Jevin I can explain...." I muttered.

"There's no need Mumbo. The only person who deserves an explanation," he said, "is Grian."

Grian looked at me and I met his eyes. He was so innocent and I didn't want to hurt him.

I told him about how Jevin liked me, but I didn't like him back. I explained how I was really in love with Grian.

"Wow." said Jevin. "Mumbo you should've told me! I would've understood."

Grian didn't say anything. I knew that our friendship couldn't last for more than maybe 10 minutes more.

"Gri?" I whispered.

He didn't say anything and pulled me into a kiss. I finally felt happy. I held him tight and never wanted to let go.

He finally pulled away and said "I love you too Mumbo."
