The Feud

Thank you so much to mimi_xoxo6  for this request! Since this chapter was started a while ago, (it took a while to write it, sorry) it's in the timeline where Grian just started the Mumbo for Mayor campaign.

3rd Person POV

Mumbo was walking through the shopping district, tearing down all the signs that said "Mumbo for Mayor".

He knew that Grian had put them there and was just trying to screw him over.

Suddenly, Mumbo felt something hit the back of his head. He turned around and saw a figure fly off.

"GRIAN!!!"

Iskall popped up behind Mumbo. "I really don't get why you guys are in such a feud."

Mumbo turned around and crossed his arms. "And I don't get why you all ship us! He's so annoying! He pulls the stupidest pranks!"

"Here, lemme try something. Answer these questions as fast as possible. As little thinking as possible."

Mumbo nods. "Fine."

"Do you love minecraft?"

"Yes."

"Do you love your family?"

"Yes."

"Do you love your friends?"

"Yes."

"Do you love your enemies?"

"No."

"Do you love Grian?"

"Yes."

Iskall grinned. "There we go!"

Mumbo turned as red as redstone. "Wha- no! I meant no! I wasn't thinking! Like you said!"

"Sure." Iskall erupted in laughter and flew off before Mumbo could say anything else.

Mumbo sighed and kept walking through the shopping district, tearing the posters down.

~LATER~

Mumbo finally took all of the posters down, and figured he would return them to Grian. After all, they had taken him a while to make.

He arrived at Grian's mansion and stood there, admiring it. "Wow... he really knows how to build."

"Do I now?"

Mumbo jumped and turned around. "Grian!" His face turned red again.

"I assume you're here for a reason?"

He nodded and gave him the posters. "Better stop it with the pranks."

"Or else what?" Grian smirked.

"Or else I'll tackle you."

Grian looked at the posters in his hands, and pulled out an item frame from his inventory, holding it to a wall on his mansion.

"Really?"

"Yes really! Cut that out!"

Grian stuck the poster on the wall and started to run.

Mumbo ran after him, wondering why he didn't just fly off. He quickly took off in the air and landed in front of Grian, tackling him to the ground.

Grian and Mumbo both laughed and Mumbo got up, extending his hand towards Grian.

Grian smiled and took his hand, getting up as well.

Mumbo accidentally pulled him too close to him, his face now nearly an inch away from Grian's.

Mumbo blushed bright red, and Grian chuckled nervously. "You still mad at me Mumby?"

Mumbo smiled and let go of him. "Hm, maybe."

Grian smirked mischievously. "I've got to go to my base for a second, I'll be right back."

He flew off into his base, then returned soon after, wearing a chicken costume. He started pelting Mumbo with eggs. Mumbo instantly flew up, flying towards Grian.

"I'll get you!" Grian took off, and this had suddenly become a high speed chase.

Grian, being the best flier on the server, swooped in every corner, trying to lose Mumbo. However, Mumbo was set on this.

After a few minutes of this going on, Mumbo quickly sped up, flying into Grian unintentionally. The two went crashing down as Mumbo attempted to take flight again.

Mumbo, being the spoon he is, forgot to take another stack of rockets, and he had just run out of them. They crashed into the ground, leaving both of them with half a heart left.

Grian had landed on top of Mumbo, Mumbo breaking his fall. Mumbo's face turned bright red again, and he looked away.

"Mumbo...?" Hearing Grian call his name, Mumbo looked back at him, still as red as his tie. (Not like Iskall would know that though, my Season Six supporters)

Without another word, Grian closed the distance between them. Their lips met ever so softly, and neither one could really believe what they were doing.

Regardless of everything they had felt before, they both kissed back, not letting go of the other.

When the kiss finally broke, Mumbo smiled, bringing Grian down next to him. He wrapped his arms around him, and the small bean curled up in his arms.

The two soon fell asleep, smiling as they both dreamt of each other.

A/N Guys, I am so sorry! I haven't been on at all, and I'm currently working on another story, and not really focusing on this one. I'll try to start working on new chapters for you guys! Just wait up!
