Happy (belated) Valentine's Day! Doing a Valentine special. Enjoy!

Mumbo's POV

I sat in my base, the letter in my hand. Ren was sitting next to me.

"Dude, you have to give him that letter," he said. "It's Valentine's day! You need to express the love-age!"

I sighed. The letter was addressed to Grian. I had liked him for a very long time now, and I really wanted to tell him, but I was afraid it would ruin our friendship.

"What if he doesn't accept it? And then it's awkward?" I said.

"You two will get past it! Worst case scenario, he doesn't like you back, you make up, and continue being friends in no time!" he said encouragingly.

"Yeah... I guess..." I sighed again. I wanted Grian to like me back.

"Ok," I said, standing up. "I'm going over." I was confident, but still scared.

Ren nodded to me as he went back to his base and I went over to Grian's. I took a box of chocolates and a bouquet of roses with me. The only sounds I could hear was the wind in my ears, and my pounding heart.

I arrived in Grian's base.

"H-hey Gri," I said nervously.

"Oh hey Mumbo!" he said cheerfully. He looked at the bouquet of roses in my hand. "Oh do you have a valentine? Who is it?"

"Umm... it's you..." I said.

"Wait... Mumbo... are you... gay?" he said.

"Well... I don't know... but I know I love you, Grian." I said. "I don't want this to end our friendsh-"

"I love you too Mumbo," he said. "Our friendship will never be ruined."

He came over to me and kissed me softly. I gave him the gifts, and we spent the night together.
