The next day I woke up feeling like shit! I was excited for my moms plan but it won't be in motion until tomorrow. She told me to take today to see how he acts around me, if he acknowledge me, and if he doesn't then we put the plan in motion. I sighed for the millionth time as I walked down the stairs "hey mom, hey dad" I said as I came into the kitchen. Of course my eyes were on my dad the whole time, who pretended like he didn't hear me. "hey sweetie, Breakfast is ready!" My mom said and I sighed. So he was still mad? I thought as I stared at my father who was suddenly so interested in crossword puzzles which, need I remind you, he Hate's.
"no thanks mom, I lost my appetite!" I said then stomped out the house grabbing my school bag on the way. I could hear my Mom calling my name but I ignored it and slammed the front door shut. When I turned back around I bumped into Lisa "Cassie please don't be mad at me! I know you hate Matt but trust me he was just consoling me!" She said and suddenly I remembered what had happened yesterday and guilt rushed through me. She thought I was mad because I hated matt but in reality,I was mad because I was jealous!
I quickly pulled her in to a hug "I'm sorry!" I said and she stared at me confused "for what?" She asked "I overreacted! What you do with him is none of my business!" I said. Although all sides of me were hating the idea of them together. I had this huge feeling in my gut that Lisa and Matt weren't telling me something but the guilt I felt pushed it aside. "I don't do anything with him,in fact I was surprised he was being so sweet! But your my best friend and I'm supposed to tell you everything! I would hate myself if I ever kept anything from you!" She said and I could have sweared she whispered 'like I do now' under her breath but with her words came a crashing wave of guilt and with that I pushed everything to the back of my mind and hugged my best friend "I love you!"

When I got to the school my eyes immediately found Matt's. He was sitting with his friends just like the first day, but this time Justin and Alec were a part of the group, he quickly looked away from me and I gritted my teeth so that's how he's going to act? As we passed by the group Alec and Justin quickly caught up to us "hey Cassie!" Justin said as he swung his hands around my shoulders.I turned around and caught Matt's eye. His jaw was clenched and I smirked. If looks could kill, Justin would be six feet under. Its so funny how he's already jealous and the plan is not even in motion yet. I turned back around to find Alec and Lisa holding hands, my eyes bugged out, when did this happen? I thought, I'd have to ask Lisa about it when we were alone. I turned to face Justin to see him gazing at a blushing Kate. I smirked to myself. Oh if only matt knew!
