26. Im tired.

Riley's POV:

After my run in with Luna I made a b-line for Lorenzo's car because I'm tired and don't want to talk to anyone to be honest. I keep yelling at everyone for no reason, but when Luna came up to me I had no energy to care. Lorenzo greets me with a warm, loving hug before we drive back home.
I somehow fell asleep on the car ride home but Lorenzo woke me up when we arrived.
"My dad wants to talk to you." He whispered as he carried me into the house bridal style.
"Mmmm k." I mumbled as I snuggled deeper into him. Once we got to Frankie's office Lorenzo put me down but held on until I became fully awake. When I am he kisses my temple before leaving me alone with his dad. I knock gently on the door before Frankie tells me to come in.
"Ahh, Riley you look, half asleep." He chuckled as he moved from behind his desk to the front.
"Sorry, I guess school drained me. I fell asleep in the car and Lorenzo carried me to your door." I laughed awkwardly.
"Don't worry about it. Anyway the reason I wanted to talk to you was because I'm offering you your own car so you don't have to rely on everyone else." He said sincerely.
"Wow, I simply can't except that Frankie." I said awkwardly while playing with my fingers.
"I insist, you have saved us all Riley, I owe you more then a car. I owe you my family, my life." He assured me. Instantly my stomach flips and I begin feeling sick travel up my throat. I run to the nearest bathroom without excusing myself but I knew if I spoke I would throw up. I fall to my knees as I reach the bathroom and begin throwing up. Lorenzo and Frankie run into the bathroom and Lorenzo quickly rubs my back and pushes a few stray pieces of hair out of my face. Once I am finished I wipe my mouth with some toilet paper before turning around to see Lorenzo and Frankie exchanging a strange look.
"What?" My raspy voice asked.
"Riley dear, is there any chance you could be pregnant?" Frankie asked quietly.
"What?!" Enzo and I said at the same time.
"Well I'm just thinking, every female in this family throws up about five days after sex when they are pregnant." He said awkwardly.
"But I'm not a blood relative." I asked confused.
"No but you could be carrying Ferrari blood now." He said as he scratched the back of his neck.
Lorenzo don't say anything we just look at each other with a worried look.
"I'll go and get Maria." Frankie said while running away.
"What are you thinking?" I asked Lorenzo as I stood up and rinsed my mouth out.
"I don't know really, it's like my mind is blank." He said as he ran his fingers through his hair.
"What about you?" He asked with concern.
"I'm seventeen, I'm not ready to be a mom." I sighed. Enzo wrapped me in a productive hug.
"We will do it together and we will be ok." He mumbled into my hair.
"Hey babies." Maria said pulling both of us into a hug.
"Hey mom." Lorenzo sighed into her.
"Let's get you a test yeah?" She smiled at me. I nod and she softly grabs my hand and we get into her car and go to CVS.
I had absolutely no clue what test to get but luckily Maria had an idea and payed for it even though I offered, she just refused. Once we pay for the test we get back into the black suv.

"How are you feeling about all of this sweetheart." She said while holding my hand.
"I don't know, I mean I'm seventeen. I know I love Lorenzo but I don't think either of us understand how big this actually is." I sighed while resting my head on her shoulder.
"You both know, you will never be alone. All of us will be there every step of the way." She said warmly.
"I know, I just wish my mom could be here for it." I said as I felt tears threatening to spill. I let them, I feel so safe with Maria.
"Oh honey, she is trust me. My mom died a few days before I gave birth to Mario, it actually caused me to go into labour." She chuckled making me join in.
"Your strong Riley, if you are, you and Lorenzo have got this." She smiled while gripping my hand tighter. The rest of the ride flew by and we eventually arrived back at the house. Lorenzo gives me and encouraging smile as Maria and I go to the bathroom. I go in alone to do the test and when I'm done I sit on the floor and aggressively run my hands through my hair which I took out of the ponytail.
A knock on the door startles me but I allow the person in. I see Lorenzo smile at me and sit down next to me. He takes my hands in his and I rest my head on his shoulder and sigh. We stay silent until my phone alarm goes off telling me it's time to look. Lorenzo and I sigh and he kisses my temple before I reach up to the counter to get the test.

Positive.

It's positive.
"Woah." We both said at the same time. I burst into tears and Lorenzo pulls me into his lap hugging me protectively.
"We will be ok neonata." He said while brushing my hair with his hand and my tears soak through his shirt.
"I love you." I mumbled against his shirt.
"I love you two baby." His calming voice spoke. I sigh and stand up with Lorenzo copying me.
"Can I borrow a car?" My broken voice asked.
"Of course, you don't have to ask." He chuckled before leading me out of the bathroom. I grab the Mercedes keys and make my way out of the house without saying goodbye to anyone. I know exactly where I need to go first.

After about 25 minutes of driving I pull up to the graveyard. I walk slowly over to my moms grave and sit on the slightly wet grass. I pull my phone out and text my dad asking if him and Cole could meet me here. He replied straight away asking if everything was ok and I told him it was. My dad and Cole arrived quickly as they live closer then I do.

"Pumpkin?" My dads voice asked in a worried tone. Tears instantly run down my face and I stand up and run to him. He hugs me while shaking, he is obviously worried about what's going on. I pull away and see Coles worried facial expression as well, I sigh before saying it out loud for the first time.

"I'm pregnant." I breathed out with a shaky breath.
"Oh baby." My dad said while pulling me into a hug.
"Are you mad at me papi?" I cried.
"Never baby girl. Are you ok with it?" He asked warmly.
"Yeah I just wish mom was here." I cried yet again as Cole joined our hug.
"She is sis." He said lowly. I look up to see his face and smile. He wipes away my tears and kisses my forehead before pulling me away for my dad and hugging me.
"Wow, you never hug me." I laughed while memorising the moment.
"Shut up." He said as he hit the back of my head.
"Owww." I whined.
"None of that now, she is carrying my grandchild." My dad said proudly. We all sit and talk for a while sat around moms grave.
"She would be so proud of you angel." My dad whispered while pulling me into a side hug.
" I love you both." I said pulling everyone into a hug before saying goodbye and making my way back home.

Lorenzo comes running over to me looking unsure. I smile and he pulls me into a warm comforting hug.
"You okay il mio amore?" He asked with his lips against my neck. Words wouldn't come out of my mouth so I just nod. Everyone is the house runs over to us congratulating us. I feel complete, because my mom is here with us.
