After Felicity got home from work around 2, she and Lindsey were sitting at the Island looking at a list of people and they were panicking. Stevie had slid off her shoes and was just standing and staring at them in the archway of the kitchen. They had given her a spare key when she picked Lily up.
"How the fuck are we going to do this?" Felicity asks.
"How the fuck are we going to do what?" Stevie makes her presence known.
"MOM!" Felicity cheers as Stevie walks further into the kitchen and places herself in between their barstools. Felicity whips around and hugs her before Lindsey hands her the sheet of paper and she slides her glasses on her face.
Lindsey, Felicity, Stella (18-23), Stevie, Leelee (20-23), Will (21-23), Adam (19-25), Brooke (20-24), Macey(20-24), Gemma (20-24), Carter (20-24), Jeff, Cory, Steve, Eleanor.
"Why is Adam here longer than Brooke and the kids?" Stevie questions.
"School, and the fact that Adam is down here looking at property and pricing for another office," Lindsey explains.
"I see, well...You and I can share the master bedroom. Put Stella and Leelee in Stella's room. William goes to the studio. Adam and Brooke can go to the guestroom. Gemma can sleep with us or Adam and Brooke. She'd have to co-sleep unless they bring a pack n play or something. But that's fine, we were going to co-sleep with the twins for a while anyway. It'd be a glimpse at what we missed. Macey and Carter can share Felicity's room, and Felicity I love you but you might have to sleep on the chaise or the couch. I'm assuming that your brother and his family aren't staying the night." Stevie explains.
"No, they live an hour away they're not staying here," Felicity explains. She had met the other Buckingham's at Cory's wedding in October and they hit it off right away.
"Alright there you go." Stevie smiles.
"See that's why you're the planner out of the two of us." Lindsey grins. Stevie just smirks and gives him a chaste kiss.
"Woah, what was that?" Felicity asks.
"Your mother and I have decided to give it one more go...why else would she say that she and I could sleep in my room." Lindsey states.
"Oh I don't know, maybe the fact that she slept with you in San Francisco." Felicity states.
"How'd you know?" Stevie gasps.
"Mom, I'm the lightest sleeper in the world. Every time you moved I'd wake up." Felicity laughs.
"See that's your fault. I can't sleep on the left side of the bed, never have been able to. Joe Walsh sleeps on the right side of the bed as well and when we had our affair in the 80s, I'd never sleep when I stayed in a hotel with him and not for the reason you think...now, what do we have for lunch. I just got off a long flight and a grueling tour and I'm starved." Stevie moves around the counter to go to the fridge.
"Not much, we have to go grocery shopping. We're waiting until we have to go pick Stella up schools out at 4." Lindsey explains.
Stevie wrinkles her nose and then shuts the door. "What does Stella like for dinner?"
"She'll literally eat anything but shrimp or fish. Says it tastes...get this, fishy." Lindsey smiles.
"Oh, dad, mom and I could go to the store. I really don't want to go to Beverly Hills to pick her up. And we can divide and conquer. Mom's done Thanksgiving, I haven't so she and I can take care of that and she can teach me while you go pick up Stella and let her tell you about her Thanksgiving with Kristen and Diane." Felicity suggests, Diane went with Kristen in the divorce settlement because even though it's not the best, Lindsey does know how to cook as does Felicity but Kristen has no clue.
