I just decided to walk around campus while they did...whatever they were going to do.
I need to make some friends, so I decided to go to a local coffee shop in our area.
I got there and it was pretty much empty, I ordered an iced coffee and sat outside since the weather was so nice.
A girl came up to me, "Hi, is this seat taken?" she asked smiling.
"Oh no, it's not," I watched her sit down.
"I'm Marissa,"
"Cleo,"
"So what's your major?"
"I'm undecided, how about you?"
"I'm an art major, specifically painting. I love it so much."
"That's cool, I was thinking of acting"
She took a sip of her drink.
"Any minor ideas?"
"Cinema and Media arts,"
"OMG same,"
"That's awesome,"
"I think we're going to be friends, you wanna go out tonight?"
"Um yeah sure,"
"Great, there's a bonfire tonight. I'll come to your dorm around 7, whose your roomie?"
"This guy named Tayler,"
"Like Tayler Holder?"
"Yeah,"
"He's one of my best friends, he's also going to the party tonight."
This was an opportunity for me to get to know more about him.
"Awesome, what can you tell me about him?"
She told me a bunch of stuff about him like how he's from Texas, loves Motocross, is kinda a player, loves dogs, and wants to get into acting and singing.
"Ok, so I'll stop by later and Taylor will prob drive us. See you then."
I waved bye and started walking back to my dorm.
This was my first college outing, I had to make a good first impression.
Hopefully, nothing crazy will happen (wink)
