Part 10

Tayler's Pov

It's 7 am and I didn't get much sleep, Cleo and Dixie have been stuck in my mind.

I called Dixie and broke it off, not because if Cleo or anything.

I just felt like it.

I got out of bed and went to get wake up Cleo.

"Rise and shine sleeping beauty," 

I sigh and roll onto my side, I look over at Cleo's bed and see her sleeping peacefully, I smile to myself and quietly get up. 

I lay down carefully next to her as light snores come out of her house. 

"Cleo," I whisper and she groans, I chuckle and lightly move her, her pretty brown eyes flutter open as she glares at me, "Tayler you never let me get sleep." 

I chuckle and nod. "That's what I'm here for, now get up." 

She groans, "Why?" 

She whines and I chuckle, "We are going to go ride Motorcross." 

Cleo rolls her eyes and stands up, "What should I wear?" 

I shrug, "It's gonna be hot so something that will keep you cool, and if you get cold I'll let you use my sweatshirt,"

She nods as she pulls out an oversized tee shirt and blue jean shorts. 

I smile as she turns towards me, "Perfect." she nods and then there is a knock on the door, Cleo races to it.

 When she opens it, a guy standing there smiling wide, Cleo immediately hugs him and he hugs back.

I lay back trying to act nonchalant like it didn't hurt, "Tayler!" 

Her happiness is clear, "Tayler, this is my best friend Daniel, Daniel this is Tayler." 

I just nod trying to be chill. 

I don't like the guy. 

Then just when I thought nothing could get worse Dixie walks in, she walks straight towards me and I could tell she's drunk, She kisses me aggressively and I kiss back. 

Cleo's Pov

 "Dixie, It's nine in the morning and you're already drinking." 

I laugh to myself as Tayler and his little girlfriend argue. 

No, I'm not jealous. 

 "So how has everything been?" 

 I smile and shrug, "I've made new friends." he nods and pouts, "We all miss you back home. When are you gonna come visit?"

 I laid back and thought about it, "Soon I promise." 

Daniel nods and then the door bursts open again, Marissa and Jasmine stand there smiling with two guys behind them. 

"Hey, guys!" Jasmine said happily walking in the room with the guy trailing behind her holding her hand. 

"This is Tyler." 

Marissa laughs and playfully pushes past Jasmine, "And this is Mattia!" 

I shush her and look at Dixie giving her a dirty look. 

But before I can say anything Tayler beats me to it, "What is your problem?" 

Dixie rolls her eyes and shrugs, "I'll see you later." Tayler groans and lets her go. 

"Cleo, let's go,"

"Tayler, we should go get food now that we have all this company. We can ride your death bikes later, right?

"Yeah I guess, not like I was looking forward to this or anything," he mumbled the last part.

What is it with guys and mumbling.

We all left the room but Tayler stayed behind.

"Tayler, you ok? I promise we'll go bike riding soon," I grabbed both his hands.

"Yeah, whatever,"

Jasmine, Tyler, Marissa, and Mattia were in one car.

Tayler, Daniel, and I in another.

Daniel and I sat in the back seat.

"Tell me everything about home Dani, I miss you and the rest of the boys."

"Well, we're taking a break for a while. That's why I'm here and um yeah. Still single as ever!"

Tayler's Pov

Something about him threw me off.

I don't like his vibe.

It was weird that he mentioned his availability.

What if he' trying to get at Cleo? 

Not jealous but, I-I just don't like his vibe.

We decided to go to this diner that Tyler found a while ago.

We all walk in and I see Daniel put his arm around Cleo.

We get to our table, I make sure to get a seat by Cleo, Daniel sits on the other side of her.

Cleo's Pov

It's so nice having Daniel around.

But Tayler's been acting kinda weird lately.

After eating we went back to campus and just hung out.

We were listening to Daniel tell a story from his tour of Asia when I noticed that Tayler had left.

I texted him.

Roomie📦

Cleo: hey where are you?

Tayler: I wasn't feeling too peachy so I left

Cleo: are you ok?

Tayler: yeah just tired, I didn't get much sleep last night

Cleo: sorry to hear that

Cleo: feel better, I'll text you when I'm on my way back

I put my phone away and kept listening to the story.

Eventually, everyone went to do their separate things and Daniel and I slowly walked back to my room.

"So, I guess I have to get going. Big day tomorrow,"

"Cleo, you are the only person I know who is excited about school," he laughed.

"Well, some of us weren't born with amazing vocal talent like you, so we make it in other fields."

"Yeah yeah, whatever. It's awesome how passionate you are about learning, I sometimes wish I had gone to college. Seems like fun,"

"Yeah but at least you're already out there pursuing your dream, I have 4 years until I can pursue mine,"

We stopped walking and he hugged me.

"I'm gonna miss you Cleopatra,"

"Please don't call me that," 

We both laughed and I walked him back to his car.

I waved to him as he drove off back to LA, back home.

How is it I've been here for like 3 days and I already want to leave?

I'm in for one heck of a year.
