Cleo's Pov

I had no idea what to wear to a bonfire.

Tayler was out, I assumed with Emily or whatever her name; so I was able to use the whole room and go through all my clothes.

Finally, I was ready.

I just waited for Marissa and Tayler. 

I anticipated how I wanted tonight to go.

I knew that I wanted to make a great first impression, maybe I'd meet a guy.

Marissa texted me that she was outside my dorm so I went downstairs to meet her.

Tayler's Pov

"And you invited her why?" I asked my best friend Marissa when she told me that she had invited my roommate to the bonfire.

"Because she seems nice, and I can tell that she's lowkey crushin on you,"

"She is so far from my type, also you know I don't do relationships."

"Whatever Tay, when have I ever steered you wrong?"

"Do you seriously want me to answer that question,"

"No, but just trust me. I'm going to text her right now,"

"Is her name Chloe or Cleo,"

"Cleo you idiot, she's on her way right now,"

I rolled my eyes and saw that Emily kept texting me.

I don't know how to get it into her head, she was just a fling. I'm over it.

She knew what she was getting into when we started hooking up.

Marissa came back to the car with Cleo, she looked nice.

Marissa had put on some music and we were having a full-on jam session.

Cleo would sing along and bop to the music.

It was cute how shy she was. I knew her type, the shy girl who did good in school and just was the goody-two-shoes.

I've hooked up with so many girls like her.

Cleo's Pov

We got to the bonfire and it was like in the movies. 

Guys had their shirts off dancing around, girls were wearing basically nothing, there were kegs and a tab;e covered with bottle and cups.

We were by a lake so people were swimming.

I just stuck with Marissa.

Later on, we sat around the fire and played suck and blow.

I watched Tayler make out with some girl since she had "dropped the card". Anyone could tell that she did it on purpose.

After we played truth or dare.

A/N: I know they play this game in all my stories, I just think it's a fun game, and an easy way to get people to do stuff.

Marissa dared Tayler to kiss me. 

He walked over and stood close to me, "Hi,"

"Can we not do this?" I pushed him back and walked away.

"Oooh," everyone yelled.

I went and sat in the car and called Daniel.

Tayler's Pov

Wow.

I'd never been turned down before. 

Everyone was laughing.

"Finally a girl who's not in love with you, giving the other guys a chance for once." my friend Bryce remarked.

"You guys really think I can't make her fall for me, just watch." (this book was inspired by the movie After)

I knew exactly how to do it.
