cleo smiled as she watched lathan sitting in the rocking chair holding leilani. she felt so amazed it felt like her whole life had changed for ever.
"as long as i'm alive i'll love you and your mommy forever" lathan mumbles quietly to leilani. cleo was getting teary eyed at the situation she thought it was so cute.
then china walked into the room all happy. "hey guys i bought y'all some food" she says placing the food on the table.
"pass it here" i say to china before she grabs me some fries out the bag, and a the small box that stored the burger in it
lathan was just watching me "what?" i ask. him "nothing, nothing" he smiles before looking back at leilani.
i open the box with the burger in it to see a diamond ring, i stare at it weirdly while lathan smiles at me.
"what?" cleo blushed "lathan, are you kidding" cleo picked up the ring looking at it. "nah i'm not kidding" he gets up and put leilani down gently.
"what's your answer?" he asks. "yeah, yeah, yes" i say excited as hell lathan takes the ring from my hand and slides in on my right, ring finger. "china you were in on this?" i laugh "we were all in on this" she reply's "who's all?" i ask. china walks over to the door and opens it and everyone walks into the hospital room including some of my family like my dad and my sister. i start to laugh before i smile while i look down at my finger before pulling him in for a hug.
"i love you" lathan says "i love you too" i say it back really meaning it.
