Daisy had shown them to a bedroom and left them to relax. Baylee was laid on the bed with Millie laying on her side on top of her.
"How are you feeling?" Baylee asked.
"A bit worn." Millie sighed. Baylee was drawing little patterns on the side of Millie's large belly. Millie nuzzled her head into Baylee's chest. "What'd she mean the baby is why they took us?" Millie asked.
"I don't know but if they even try to hurt you or that baby I'll kill them." Baylee said. Millie knew that was a fact.
"Do you think they'll let us go?" Millie asked.
"I'm not really sure why we're actually here but depending on that they probably will." Baylee said. Millie nuzzled closer.
"Tired" Millie yawned, the two napped. When Millie woke up Baylee wasn't there. She hopped up to go find her.
Millie found Baylee sitting on a couch talking to two people. She got up.
"Heya Mills, this is Fitz and Jemma, they're married but Jemma is a nurse slash scientist and Mr. Fitz is a mechanic." Baylee smiled.
"Nice to meet you!" Jemma smiled and held out a hand. Millie shook it and smiled.
"You have an accent too." Millie smiled.
"We both do." Fitz smiled.
"So to the point, we just want to monitor everything considering what this one is capable of." Jemma pointed at Baylee then away.
"Makes since I guess." Millie said.
"Can we start tomorrow?" Baylee asked.
"Why?" Jemma asked. Everyone looked at Baylee.
"I wanted to show Millie around, plus the sunset." Baylee said. Jemma nodded and Baylee got up.
She took Millie's hand grinning like a little kid and began showing her everything. They sat and watched the sunset through a window near the lab. Millie leaned her head on Baylee's shoulder and put a hand on Baylee's thigh. Baylee moved her hand off and instead held it in hers.
"Behave." Baylee laughed. After that they went to bed.
The next morning Jemma approached them at breakfast.
"Mind if we go down to the lab and take a look?" Jemma asked.
"Let's go." Baylee said and hopped up. She gave Millie a hand up and they followed Jemma. They checked her out and soon let the pair go back home after giving them a ton of tips and advice for Millie.
A month passed and Millie was now a solid eight months pregnant. She was currently at work with her hands on the desk and leaning on them as a contraction took it's toll.
"I shot Baylee a text." Sadie said and stood in front of the desk and facing Millie.
"I told you not to worry her-" Millie said and groaned. She held a hand on her belly. "Settle down..." Millie groaned and rubbed her belly. Not even ten minutes later Baylee came in the door.
"Hey... here why don't we go to the back room and lay you down." Baylee said and gently came to Millie's side. Millie had her eyes shut tight.
"I can't move right now hold on." Millie said struggling to keep her composure. Costumers were watching now. Sadie was slightly anxious now. Millie let out a small squeak and tears began running down her face.
"Come here baby let's get you out of here." Baylee sighed and took Millie's arm. She put it over her shoulders and held her other hand around Millie's waist to give her more support. Baylee got her to the couch in the back room and sat her down. Baylee closed the door. "Can you lay Mills?" Baylee asked. Millie just groaned and laid down on the couch. Baylee squatted down and lifted Millie's shirt.
"Mmm" Millie moaned. Baylee gently felt Millie's belly.
"You're too big, you don't have room for a baby let alone any room to grow..." Baylee sighed.
"No..." Millie whined. Baylee gently rubbed Millie's belly and tucked some of her hair back.
"It's okay Mills, do you want to go home or can I call Jemma?" Baylee asked. Millie was sweating a bit and afraid.
"Is it necessary?" Millie asked.
"Babe you're tiny and you're in pain..." Baylee said.
"Stop saying I'm tiny or small I know okay!" Millie snapped and then suddenly cried out. "Oh- oh fuck-" Millie squeaked.
"Okay Millie, I'm going to pick you up and we're going to go home okay?" Baylee said and Millie nodded. Baylee scooped her up and headed to the door. Sadie was looking.
"Is she okay?" Sadie asked.
"We're going to head home I think she needs to be induced." Baylee said.
"Okay, I'm going to close up and head over to your house then." Sadie said.
"See you there." Baylee said as she went through the door. She set Millie in the car than ran over and got in the driver seat. She sent Jemma a text and headed to the house quickly. She got Millie into the bedroom and had an incoming call from Jemma. Baylee was pacing in the corner of the room and when she hung up she was stressing.
"What is it?" Millie asked laying on her side panting from trying to manage contractions.
"She's going to be a bit." Baylee said and came over, she sat on the bed and Millie took her hand. Baylee sighed. She could feel Millie's fear. "I'm sorry you have to go through this." Baylee said.
"It's fine... it'll be worth it." Millie sighed. "Sorry for snapping at you earlier I'm just-" Millie sighed.
"Scared. I know, I'm anxious too Mills." Baylee said.
"I just... I don't want to lose it again-" Millie broke down. Baylee gently slid under her and held Millie, who was laying on her side on top of and in between Baylee's legs.
"Millie... Millie you won't you've got this. We're home and safe this time and I know it's hard for you to be comfortable but it's better than the woods." Baylee said. There was a knock on the door.
"Come in!" Baylee called and Jemma came through the door and Baylee was relieved.
