Baylee had been gone all day and all night working. Millie was sitting in their home alone and she had just started getting scattered contractions occasionally as she cleaned the house. Finally she heard the front door open and close. She headed that way happy.

"Hey Bay-" Millie stopped speaking upon the sight. Baylee looked awful, she had a black eye, was cut up, and looked too tired to function.

"Heya Mills-" Baylee said weakly and the fell.

"Baylee?! Baylee what happened?!!" Millie got on the ground and grabbed Baylee's face. Baylee had stiches under her jaw and a little down her neck indicating this happened not today.

"I'm fine- I'm fine I just need sleep-" Baylee said.

"Not on the floor hon." Millie said. With help from Millie Baylee got up, one arm over Millie. She stumbled to the bed and collapsed on it. Millie sighed at the sight. She decided she'd confront Baylee after she'd gotten some sleep.

The next day Baylee was more active. Millie came into the bedroom with breakfast.

"Morning." Millie said.

"Mornin'" Baylee yawned.

"Are you still tired?" Millie asked as she sat on the side of the bed.

"A little." Baylee said after taking a bite of some of the eggs on her plate.

"What happened?" Millie asked. Baylee put a hand over her mouth and swallowed.

"Nothing." Baylee said and continued eating. Millie gently put a few fingers under Baylee's chin and lifted it to see the stiches and Baylee winced.

"Who?" Millie said sternly.

"Some alley guys. It's fine Mills. They're not gonna do it again." Baylee sighed and kept eating.

"Alley guys? It's because of me isn't it?" Millie said.

"No. No I don't think its related to you I shouldn't have been walking by anyways." Baylee said.

"Walking by? Where were you walking to?" Millie asked.

"Does it matter?" Baylee said. Millie sighed now frustrated. "We got to operate on a guy and ended up not having to amputate anything which is cool." Baylee said.

"That's good." Millie said. Baylee set her plate to the side and held her arms out. Millie crawled into them and Baylee held her close and laid her head on Millie's shoulder.

"How's baby treating you?" Baylee asked.

"Good until about an hour ago we decided to kick around." Millie said. Baylee gently rubbed Millie's lower belly. Millie gasped as it kicked hard making Baylee jump.

"Damn" Baylee said.

"Sorry... sorry it just hurt..." Millie said.

"No I meant damn as in that was a hard ass kick. Not at you hurting, I hate seeing you hurting though." Baylee said.

"Probably gets that kind of kick from you." Millie said.

"Well when baby calms down maybe we can do something..." Baylee said. Her breathe on Millie's neck made Millie's heart rate spike. She liked the sound of that.

"Is it safe?" Millie asked.

"Of course." Baylee said.

"Good because it's been too long." Millie smiled and kissed Baylee. Baylee held it and laid so that Millie was on top of her with knees on each side of Baylee. Baylee was holding Millie's hips.

"Not right now. I need to shut my eyes for a bit." Baylee said. Millie sighed, making Baylee grin. When  Baylee woke up it was due to a loud banging. Baylee shot up and so did Millie, full of fear.

"What the fuck is that?" Baylee said. Millie just looked at her in fear. "Mills... get somewhere hidden." Baylee said and grabbed a gun from the cabinet and handed it to Millie as she got up.

"What are you doing?" Millie whisper yelled.

"I am going to go see what's going on..." Baylee said. Millie got up and hid as Baylee drew out her claws and began sneaking around the house. Millie shuddered hearing Baylee fighting and someone struggling. Suddenly someone came through the room window. Millie screamed, someone grabbed her up and then her world went black.

When Millie woke up she was in some sort of cell.

"If you don't let her out too I will cut off your testicles and tape them to your head Ward." Baylee growled. Millie stood up quickly.

"Baylee?!" Millie said fearfully. Baylee walked up to the glass on Millie's cell window.

"I'm here... we're safe... we're safe, I think." Baylee said.

"What's going on?" Millie asked.

"The Dazed Society go to us... they keep an eye on inhumans. I lived here a few years I know the team." Baylee explained.

"Why am I in a cell? Shouldn't they be more afraid of you than me?" Millie said.

"I mean... yeah but they know me and don't worry I will get you out." Baylee said. Millie nodded putting full trust in Baylee.

"Barnes?" a woman's raspy voice came from behind. Baylee looked as if she was shocked. Baylee turned around.

"Daisy- Daisy!" Baylee said at the sight of the woman who was maybe 23 and had brown hair to her shoulders kind of like Millie. They ran at each other and collided in a hug.

"Holy shit... holy shit it's been so long." Daisy said. She let go of Baylee to look her in the eyes and held both of Baylee's hand in each of hers. "You're beautiful holy- god damn." Daisy grinned. Baylee laughed.

"You too... you too, are you and Grant still together?" Baylee questioned.

"Yep. Five years and we got married a little over a year ago." Daisy said. Baylee smiled. Daisy was an inhuman like herself.

"Can you open this cell? This is my girlfriend Millie she isn't an inhuman." Baylee sighed.

"Oh yeah I got it." Daisy walked over and opened it and Millie was quick to hug Baylee.

"Are you okay? You're not hurt anywhere?" Baylee asked and looked at Millie.

"No I'm good." Millie nodded.

"Wait... Bay is that yours?" Daisy asked and pointed at Millie's belly.

"Yeah... why?" Baylee asked. Daisy bit at her lip.

"Well that'd be why they took you guys." Daisy sighed. Millie gave her a look.
