Jemma had examined Millie and was now sitting on the bed.
"You guys have two options, we can induce her now if it's too much or she can wait out the month but you're body really doesn't have room or any more left which is why you're already so uncomfortable so if you wait it out you're on home rest because you could go into labor any time." Jemma said. Baylee sighed.
"What do you want to do?" Baylee asked.
"Why don't we pick a day and do it then? Right now is just too overwhelming." Millie said.
"That's a good plan, why don't we pick a morning?" Jemma asked.
"Will the baby be at any risk?" Baylee asked.
"No. The baby is totally healthy and fine this is more about Millie's health right now. It might be good to wait a little to give the baby the most time to develop it's just Millie isn't exactly the biggest woman." Jemma said.
"I'll just wait out the month." Millie said.
"Millie-" Baylee began but Millie cut her off.
"It's better for the baby. Don't argue with me." Millie said and Baylee fell silent.
"Okay, I'll see you the first of next month then but you need to be on home rest." Jemma said. Millie nodded and Baylee went to walk Jemma out.
Baylee followed her to the door and sighed.
"You don't like what she wants?" Jemma asked.
"Not at all. She looked awful today. Her stomach is overlapping onto her pelvis and she's already sore. I know it's better for the baby but what about her?" Baylee sighed. Jemma gently pushed Baylee's hair out of her eyes.
"Just keep an eye on her okay? You know if it gets bad you can push her into labor if you have to. I'll be a phone call away okay?" Jemma said. Baylee nodded and Jemma left. Baylee walked back to the bedroom after doing some dishes. Millie was in a large t shirt and underwear and was trying to get comfortable in the bed. Baylee leaned on the door post watching. Millie took her underwear off.
"You ok?" Baylee asked then went and got in the bed. She wasn't touching Millie but she was watching her. Millie got under the covers.
"Fine." Millie said and laid facing the other way. Baylee texted Sadie the deal then went to bed. The next morning Baylee woke up and got ready for work. She was about to head out.
"You're gonna leave without saying bye?" Millie said. Baylee turned around. Millie looked huge and sad.
"I wasn't going to wake you up, no." Baylee said. Millie waddled over, her pony tail swaying a little, and put her head in Baylee's chest and arms around her. Baylee gently held her back. "You rest up okay? I'll keep my phone on me if you need anything call, I'll be back with lunch later okay?" Baylee said.
"You can't stay home?" Millie said.
"No babe." Baylee said with a small laugh. Millie looked up and closed her eyes and Baylee gave her a kiss then left. Millie waddled back to the bedroom after grabbing the breakfast Baylee had made her off the counter. She ate and slept and a little before lunch she got sick. After throwing up she got back in bed. Her area's were aching. Millie slid a hand down and touched herself.
She could feel her heart beating down there. Millie stopped making herself not feeling any better. She rubbed her belly.
"You're killing me you know that." Millie groaned as the baby gently kicked around. Millie heard the door open and footsteps and then Baylee came around the corner with a take out bag of food.
"Hungry?" Baylee asked. Millie nodded. "What are you doing with all this out." Baylee teased and rubbed Millie's thigh.
"It all is achy and I can feel pulsing." Millie said. Baylee made a face of slight confusion.
"Can I feel?" Baylee asked.
"Yes." Millie said. Baylee sat criss crossed and gently set Millie's legs, pushing them to either side of her. She rubbed her hands together to warm them up then felt Millie's folds. Millie whimpered a little. Baylee chuckled then got serious again as she felt.
"Have you been straining?" Baylee asked.
"No, I mean I don't think." Millie said.
"Does this hurt?" Baylee asked and gently pushed on the bone area on the inside more.
"I- yeah. Yeah that does." Millie said. Baylee moved her hand.
"What about around here?" Baylee asked and rubbed a gentle hand over Millie's pelvis area.
"Yeah its tender down there." Millie said. Baylee sighed. She rubbed the crease where Millie's belly overlapped.
"Better make sure you clean down here, you're going to have a whole ass buttcrack down here." Baylee laughed.
"Rude!" Millie hit her and laughed. "I can't help it maybe you should help me." Millie said. Baylee hadn't been showering with her since she got home later.
"Maybe I will." Baylee laughed. "I have to go but let me go grab you something to drink." Baylee said. She hopped up and brought a cold water back. "I'll see you tonight." Baylee said and gave Millie a quick peck on the head. She headed back to work.
Baylee had been at it for hours and just finished a surgery. She glanced at the clock. Midnight, Millie was going to be pissed. Baylee drove home after changing in the car. She could barely keep her eyes open. She made it home and walked through the door hoping Millie was already asleep. Sure enough she was and scared to wake her up, Baylee slept on the couch. The next weeks were the same, Baylee coming home way too late and it had officially pushed Millie into a depressive fit.
