"Anti? ANTI!" Jackie held the demon tight as he suddenly started to spasm. It wasn't bad like an obvious seizure but it wasn't good either. "Anti... Jesus Christ!" Jackie laid Anti on the ground pulling him onto his sighed as the demon shook. "Anti, can you hear me?"

"JACK!" Jackie jumped as Anti gripped his wrist tightly. Tears fell from his glowing and glitching eyes making the hero even more concerned. Actually concerned isn't the right word. The hero was panicking. "Anti?"

"M-My f-faul-lt-t." The feedback that surrounded the demon was so thick Jackie could barely hear him. "H-Hat-tes m-me... l-left... b-b-because of-f m-me."

"JJ?" Anti's choked as his tears literally started to burn his skin and Jackie jumped to quickly wipe them away but it didn't matter. He couldn't stop crying. "Anti..."

"I d-didn't-t mean t-to..." Anti cried out as suddenly someone yanked Jackie back just as a surge of energy blasted through the hall. Henrik stood there blocking the hero from the blast as Anti curled up into himself. "Make it stop. Make it stop. Please... P-Please, make it stop."

"Henrik, what's happening to him?" The doctor frowned as he picked Anti up, Jackie close on his tail as they brought the demon into his room. "Doctor!"

"I DON'T KNOW!" Jackie flinched as Henriks eyes changed and scales trailed down his cheeks like tears. Henrik laid Anti down only to jump back as the demon screamed out causing his lights to explode. "Shit!"

"Why is he..." Jackie froze up seeing the complete pain in the demon's eyes as he stared up at the ceiling. He was completely lost to his pain and both men knew it. "Henrik what do you need me to do?"

"Lock the door for now." The air shifted around the doctor and Jackie nodded as he quickly ran to do just that. Henrik's eyes narrowed as he held his hand over his month summoning a doctor's mask as his scrubs and medic jacket slowly appeared on his body. His eyes glowed bright green as his usually bright blue hair darkened and spiked. Anti tensed gripping the blankets tightly as he whimpered. "Jackie, I'm going to need you to stay there ok?"

"But I can..."

"Jackie, if you want to help stay there." Jackie sighed as he nodded again. "He's not going to like this." Jack's eyes narrowed as Henrik held his hand out summoning a syringe. The moment the syringe appeared the room literally went up with electricity. Jackie flinched as his hands went a bit numb in the blast but out of everyone... other than Robbie and Henrik, he was the most immune to it all. He's built up a pain tolerance from his fights.

"Get tat fooken ting away from me, ye fooken arse!" Anti flailed as Henrik attempted to give the demon medicine. "Ye aren't stickin' me wit tat shite."

"Anti, you're pain won't lessen without it." Even still Anti screamed throwing his arm through the air sending a blast straight into Henrik. The doctor was quick to block, having been on gaurd the whole time but even still... Jack wasn't kidding. Anti really was like a child throwing a tantrum.

"Anti, look at me." Henrik's eyes shot up as Jack held Anti's arms tightly. Jackie smiled softly as the demon just looked at him in fearful confusion. "Just look at me ok? You can do that at least right?" Jackie laughed as he playfully teased. "I never knew such a powerful demon could be such a scaredy-cat."

"I-I'm n-not afraid!" Jack shot him this look before squeezing his arms tightly to keep his attention. "I'm not... I'm... I..."

"Hey now, Glitch. Don't you go starting anything now." Jack smiled as Henrik slowly moved the needle closer. "Wouldn't want to have to beat your ass again."

"You couldn't beat me even if I was sick..." Anti smirked as Jack scoffed softly. "You're just a human."

"I'm a superhero thank you, with superpowers." Anti laughed and Henrik quickly took advantage of pushing the needle into the demon's arm and emptying the whole thing of sedatives into his system. Anti froze looking over at Henrik who pulled the syringe out and sighed.

"There... All done." Jackie let Anti's arm down as the Demon's eyes started to glass over. "I'm sorry, Anti, but I had to. I had to lessen your pain."

"You... you both... Jackie?" The hero actually flinched hearing how scared Anti sounded. This was not something anyone EVER expected to go through with the demon. "What... What did you..."

"Just some sedatives, Anti. It's ok. You need to rest." Anti's eyes began to drop as he shook his head trying desperately to not fall asleep. "I promise no harm will come to you. I will help ease your pain. It will be far easier to do so when you're asleep."

"No... N-No, no, no, I..." Anti's body started to go lax as his eyes finally closed and no matter how hard he tried, he could not open them again. "I don't... want... to."

"It's ok, Anti." Jackie moved a chair in close to the bed as he watched the demon slowly but surely drift off. "Nothing is going to happen."

"I'm sorry." Jackie's eyes went wide as Anti's voice slurred slightly. "I'm... sor..." And just like that, he was out. Jackie blinked several times as he tried to wrap his mind around everything. It wasn't that long ago he absolutely hated the demon. He was adamant that Anti was evil and that he wanted to do was hurt people. In just the span of a few hours, Jackie had not only been proven wrong but shown just how badly Anti had it. He didn't know what to do. Part of him want to make it all up to the guy... to find out whatever was wrong with him and... beat it to a bloody pulp... er, fix it. But the other part of him didn't think he had the right to. After all, Jackie had been his 'nemesis' for so long... He didn't think Anti would want his help.

"I take it you won't be leaving then?" Jackie shook his had as Henrik summand his medical back with a sigh. "Well ok then... if you're staying then you're helping." Jackie just nodded as Henrik passed him over a doctor's mask and some gloves. "If you could go get some of my monitors from my office that would be a big help."

"On it."
