"You need to come home, JJ. Something happened to, Anti." Jamie frowned as the bitch read his texts out loud to him. Just another form of torture to her. It hurt more than the knife. "Bro, I know you're upset but we can explain everything once you come home." Her eyes shined as laughed. "They all seem to think you ran off. I guess my texts to them actually worked." JJ flared, his aura fluctuating as he sat there fuming. He HAD to get home. "Oh here's a good one... It's from Jackie. Get your ass home right fucking now. Anti's in a fucking coma." Her eyes narrowed as her eyes darted up. "Something must have happened between him and Jack."

"Oh stop your squirming. It's pointless." She simply turned back to the phone as her eyes darkened. "Anti's had another episode thought you should know... Oh, look at that Jack texted you that he's highly disappointed." Her eyes met his again and she frowned. "Yet you don't seem upset at all about that. Why is it when that your own host being upset don't cause a reaction but..." Her eyes lit up as the notification sound went off. "Oh look whos awake." She turned the phone over to reveal a text from Anti and laughed as JJ went off the walls. His power sparked around him making things glitch and shift as he silently screamed out trying to break his bonds. "Oh dear." Her eyes narrowed as she read the text. "Well, I hope you weren't planning on ever talking to Anti again cuz... He just said goodbye. Not that it matters much when you're going to die." Jamie froze up instantly. His eyes wide in shock as his power slowly diminished around him. He shot her this look making her smile softly.

"You care about him, don't you. That's why you get so angry. You're angry over him being hurt." JJ avoided her gaze as she draped herself in her chair again. "Do you want to know what he said? Yes? Ok them." JJ flinched as her cold laughter filled his ears.

"I know I fucked up. I'm sorry. I can't tell you why... Oh, he must be talking about the whole feeling cause him pain thing I told you about... Anyway, he says... Sorry. I'm not expecting you to forgive me. It's fine. I'm not asking you too. Robbie told me you're not coming back. I hope you happy out there... Guess this means goodbye. Should we text him back?" JJ shook his head furiously knowing exactly what she would do if she did. She simply laughed as she put the phone down. "Awe, your no fun. I love the man, but Anti's so boring sometimes. You should see him when he's pissed. Now that's a demon."

"Of course you've only seen him when he's panicking or in a depressive spell. His thoughts tend to get to him than bad... All those times he's snapped..." She slowly stood herself up as she watched JJ brake before her. "You care about him. I can see it. It must hurt to know you never actually paid any attention to him. It must hurt to know he's home suffering over another man and theres nothing you can do to help." A scalpel went flying at her starling her as JJ's eyes began to glow. She frowned as he turned away just before she could slap him. "Do that again and the next person that sees my knife won't be you... and they won't live to tell the story. Understand?"

JJ nodded as she left him there alone with his thought. She wasn't wrong. He was upset. He was hurting because Anti was. He didn't care that the trip got canceled. He didn't need to go on it. He'd figure something else. Part of him was even debating if he actually wanted to go at all... it wasn't the trip getting canceled that hurt him so much...

It was the Anti was the one that did.

JJ had left that day just to clear his head. He had walked himself to a bar. Don't ask why. He didn't drink. He just sat there trying to work through his thoughts. He thought about calling him. Calling Anti... He thought about asking him why he did it. But everything he thought about it all it just hurt him more. He knew Anti... Correction he thought Anti didn't care. That he couldn't feel. That he was so cold-hearted he would do anything to get what he wanted.

JJ felt betrayed by the man he loved.

Yes... Funny right? JJ had fallen for the heartless demon. That's why he didn't say anything. He didn't pursue it. You could blame the dreams but... Who doesn't fall for the wrong side of the tracks at least once?

Those dreams though... It started a while ago. He didn't think much of it at first. He had started to well crush on him. He saw Anti just standing there by a tree lost in thought. He didn't know how long he'd been there but the look on Anti's face.

It seemed like nearly every week he'd have at least one dream with him. Until every week turned into every night. That's why it hurt. It hurt so much because the dream version JJ got so close to was not the same man he'd see when he woke up. It hurt even more because he saw him every night...

He hasn't seen him ONCE since coming here.

JJ sighed as he deflated against the chair. He had gone to the bar to think. He never thought he'd have to worry. It was just a child. A small girl no older than 6... She asked him for help. She couldn't find her parents... His mistake was being to kind. He went to help her and he realized to soon something was wrong. By the time he had, she had knocked him out. Just his luck... He's trapped like bait just waiting to be put out for use. Meanwhile, the man he loved was at home suffering over something he hadn't even noticed was possible.

He HAD to get home. He just had to. But there was no way out. He couldn't break these bonds... they weren't normal rope. That's what you get when your captures a demon... you just don't escape.
