Divorce

Jimin woke up feeling a lot more, depressed and nervous then he had for the past few weeks. He asked his lawyer if he could extend when he has to get Jungkook to sign the divorce papers. As next week was his darling pup's birthday. He couldn't do that to her. He said the week after is as much as she could do. He agreed.

He texted Jungkook to make sure he would be at the party which Jungkook confirmed he would. Jimin and Taehyung prepared the party with the help of The Kims and their daughter, Mina. One of Hwa-Young's closest friends.

Hwa-Young's Father
Hey, Jimin. I wanted to know what name the cake us under before I bring it.

Jimin
The name is Jeon.

Hwa-Young's Father
Okay thank you

Jimin sighed as he set his phone down. Jungkook's ring on his right hand, his own on his left. Staring at the divorce papers.

"Mommy! When's everyone coming? Mina is only here!"

A cute pout forming in her little lips.

Jimin smiled as he walked over and picked her up.

"They'll all be here soon."

After a while of waiting everyone arrived... except Jungkook. Jimin was just about to call him and yell at him until he came bursting through the doors leading to the backyard shouting, "CAKE!"

All the kids screamed running up on the porch to get some cake everyone telling Hwa-Young her alpha father is great and shouting Mr. Jeon is so fun.

"I thought you'd be late," Jimin said as he crossed his arms staring at Jungkook as he cut the cake and handed it to the children in line.

"Well, I did that while we were married and that impacted Hwa-Young. Doing it now might influence our daughter a lot more. But not in a good way."

Jimin nodded but then paused, "Were?"

He stood up and sighed.

"I saw the papers. I'll sign them. I won't put up a fight. But I will if you try to take our daughter from me. She's as much mine and she is yours. Okay?"

Jimin felt relived, "Ah, yeah."

He then suddenly remembered.

"Uh, Jungkook."

Jungkook looked up from giving the last cake slice and a kiss to his daughter's forehead.

"Here," Jimin placed Jungkook's ring in his hand, "Hwa-Young took it. Sorry if you were worried."

Jungkook breathed out then smiled as he slid his ring on.

"I don't care if no longer has its true meaning. I may have broken our promise to one another and know you shouldn't forgive me. I'm extremely grateful that you let me love you for 12 years. Just wish it could've been more. Find someone new, someone better once we are no longer bound to each other. Sell your ring, keep it, give it away. Just, stay happy. That's what our daughter needs."

Jimin inhaled then nodded, "Trial next week."

Then off Jimin went and down a tear fell from Jungkook's eye.

"You will both have shared custody over your daughter. Jeon Jimin will you be changing your name?"

Jungkook tensed a little but didn't look over.

"Yes, I will."

"To what?"

"Park Jimin."

"And your daughter?"

"Her name will stay the same."

The judge called the trial over and Jimin walked out. A tired Jungkook following after. Jungkook walked past to his car. Jimin ran and grabbed his wrist, placing his engagement ring and wedding ring into his hand.

"I don't need them. You keep them. Thank you for the smiles and good times. As well as our beautiful pup."

Then off Jimin went. Again, down came Jungkook's tears. Jungkook sniffled and wiped his eyes as he gripped the rings.

"I love you so much Jimin. Find someone better."
