A Phone Call

It's a few weeks since Jimin had officially become Park Jimin again. He had told his family and friends. Telling them to leave Jungkook be. He could feel when Jungkook would start to get real depressed. He bet Jungkook could feel when he was getting really depressed as well. Recently Jungkook has been working like crazy. Getting file after file filled. Trial after trial won. He had been working so hard just to ignore the thought of "you are a divorced man" and "Park Jimin" to him, Jeon Jimin sounded better. The divorced couple hadn't been talking except for the occasional "when is Hwa-Young's recital" and "when will you pick up Princess?" They never just had a conversation. There was always a reason. One day when Jungkook had went to pick up Hwa-Young to have a chill day with just him and her he decided to ask Jimin a serious question.

"When are you gonna tell her?"

Jimin turned to him, "Why me? Why not you?"

"You're her mommy."

"But you're the one that fucked up."

Jungkook sniffled then stood up from where he was leaning against the kitchen counter.

"You know, she's been asking when she can stay with me. When will you let her?"

Jimin sighed, "I don't know Jungkook."

Jungkook ran his fingers through his hair, "This is gonna take a toil on her in school. I saw it with my cousin Yuri when her parents divorced."

Jimin sighed, "Just don't leave her."

Jungkook scoffed, "Come on, give me credit Chim. At least I didn't lose her in McDonalds."

Jimin snorted. He shook his head as he crossed his arms.

Thats the closest they've gotten since that night.

"OKAY DADDY! LET'S GO!"

Jimin smiled as an excited Hwa-Young and happy Jungkook left his home.

"I'll have here home by 7. Is that fine?"

Jimin nodded as he shut the door.

"Ah, my family."
