Host sits at the desk with no words, listening to the birds outside singing in the fresh morning light from the night before. His fingers tapping on the microphone in front of him as he began to narrate around him.

"The birds sing there softest songs as the trees dry off from the rain, each little drop a small sound of the forest around the home. The wind blowing the leaves and giving a gentle sway. Host sits alone, in the dark with no one in the cabin. He-"

Host got interrupted from the sounds of nature from yelling and heavy footsteps outside his old cabin. He slowly stood up, walking to his window and lifting the curtain. He couldn't see, but he could hear.

"Mute freak!" A gruff voice yelled, kicking dirt and heavy shifting on the ground. Telling Host someone was trying to crawl away from them. "No one even likes you! Talk if you think that isn't true!" The person laughed. Hearing it a bit more, Host figured out it was male.

Host felt anger rise up in his chest, he could tell that the person this man was bullying was mute. He closed the curtains of the window and walk toward his front door, his hands gliding along the walls to make sure he was going the right way.

Host opened the door and began to walk toward the voice. Tapping on the man's shoulder.

The man who was bullying the person turned around and backed up the sight of Host. "What the- Who the fuck are you!?" The man glared.

"The Host answers the bully, His name is The Host. The bullies worst nightmare." Host narrates as he grabbed him by his shirt and lifts him off the ground with his strength.

"The Host says if he ever sees him bullying the victim ever again. The Host will personally hunt the bully down and rip his eyes from his sockets and make him a freak as well." He dropped him.

"W-Whatever, you freaks!" The man ran off, Host turned toward the shaking person.

"Host apologizes if he had seemed to scare you. Host didn't like him hurting you." He apologizes. Helping you help as he helps steady you by holding your waist.

"Host says you seem hurt, Host offers for you to rest inside his cabin before returning home." Host gives you a small smile, trying not to scare you.

You smile at him. He seemed so kind. But you found yourself staring at the bloody bandage around his eyes. You wanted to feel it and ask if he was okay. But you couldn't.

"Host feels as if you are staring. Yes, Host is blind. But Host promises, he will not hurt you..." He smiles. "The Host is asking, can you spell your name on my wrist?"

You use your finger and glide it along his skin in the form of letters, stopping once you finished writing your name to him.

"(Y/n)...Host says you have a wonderful name..." Host smiles at you. Helping you inside his small cabin. He sits you down and helps you feel better. It was nice having someone you care for you.

((Timeskip))

You kept visiting Host, and you two enjoyed each other's company. You even helped him get out of the house a lot more. And you two have been walking the parks, and eating out.

The small town in which you lived in began to speak hushed rumors about you both. But many elders thought nothing of these words. Knowing that this strange man who lived in the forest was being kind, he may have looked different.
But his heart shows his intents. Harmless.

Host and you would mostly spend time out in his cabin. Enjoying each other's time as Host would tell and read to you the many stories he has written.

Slowly, you two have been growing more coser, and love was growing between you both. A strong bond. Hidden between you both. One couldn't speak, but the other didn't have the voice too.

Until one day, Host found the guts too. He took your hands in his and told you how much you meant to him, you never uttered a word, but fell in love with your lovely personality.

He pulled you close, his lips almost touching yours.

"You'll be my eyes, I'll be your voice..."
