10. Behlul Meets Sinan.

Behlul was now on the verge of giving up all hope. For the last whole month, he had tried everything yet he couldn't find his love, Bihter. The thought that she now had someone else in her life made him go crazy. He couldn't take it anymore. The next day, while he was at the local grocery store he saw Sinan; Bihter's friend. He immediately recognised him and how could he not? Behlul was so jealous of him!

Behlul: "Hey! You, in the jacket! Please stop. I need to talk to you."  he ran after him in hopes to stop him.
Sinan: "Uh, are you talking to me? I'm sorry but I do I know you..? " he questioned in confusion.
Behlul: "Yes! Please, it's quite important. I know you don't know me but you are my only hope at this point."
Sinan: "Go on.."
Behlul: "Um, I- I'm Behlul. Behlul Haznedar. You might not know me, but I saw you with her at the wedding. With Bihter. Can you please tell me where she is now?"
Sinan: "Oh, so I finally get to meet you Mr Behlul. Look, I will not give you any details about her. Don't you have any shame? After all that you've done to the poor girl, how can you stand here and ask me about her? She is so traumatised that she hasn't even told anyone what exactly happened. But everyone can see the pain that she tries to hide. "
Behlul: "Man, look, I have done some horrible stuff. There is no justification. You don't know the pain I go through everyday, just even thinking about what I did to her.. to Bihter. But I'm trying to make it right now. Please help me! I don't know if things are serious between you and her, and if she's really happy with you, I'll not bother you guys at all. Just please let me talk to her once." he pleaded.
Sinan: "Woah, what? Oh, you've got it wrong, man! There's nothing of that sort between us. I'm just a friend of hers. In fact, I'm engaged. *shows his wedding band* But I still won't allow you to hurt her again."
Behlul: "What.. So, you mean.. she's single? She's seeing no one?" Behlul couldn't help but smile.
Sinan: "It doesn't change anything. Aren't you married to some rich brat? Go back, dude! Guys like you just create trouble. You picked a side, now go stay there! Leave Bihter alone. I have seen what she has gone through over the last few months. She's going to become a mom any day now. She's going to have a son. Don't spoil it for her. Just leave."
Behlul: "Huh? A- a son? She.. she's having a son? My son.." his lips began to quiver as he broke down in tears.
Sinan: "Dude, you have no right to call him your son! You wanted her to get rid of it!"
Behlul: "Man, I know I did some horrible stuff, okay? I wasn't even sure if she was pregnant. Or more accurately, I chose not to believe it. It was easier that way. To run away, to escape from any responsibility. I have always been a miserable coward who couldn't fight for himself. I have been in constant pain since the day she left, you have no idea! But the day I saw her at the wedding, everything changed. I don't know how it happened, but I finally got the courage to make things right. I have divorced Nihal, it has been months now. I've left everything now! Please, I beg you! Please let me see her once!" he broke down.
Sinan: "Alright, stop.. I'll see what I can do.."

Sinan now felt bad for Behlül and didn't know what to do. He finally agreed to take him to Bihter. He called Bihter but her phone was switched off so he called Alice next asking about Bihter's whereabouts. She said that she was accompanying Bihter to the hospital as she was now in labour. The baby was coming! Sinan broke the news to Behlul and he couldn't believe it. He felt a mix of emotions; extreme happiness, excitement and fear, all at the same time. They rushed to the hospital too. Behlul was shivering, not only was he about to meet the love of his life, but also his son! He was about to have his own little family. Something he only dreamed of and thought would never happen!
