17. And They Lived Happily Ever After!

[4 years later...]

It was a beautiful sunny day, the spring breeze refreshed everything it touched. The fresh sprouting grass was glade green, and a pageant of floral smells floated in the garden. It had been 4 years since the day Bihter and Behlul tied the knot and vowed to become life partners. Life was happy as they knew it; they were doing extremely well in their jobs and had shifted to a new house overlooking the beautiful shore. Their little baby boy, Berk, was now 4 and the naughtiest yet the most adorable little kid around (must have taken after his daddy!) Bihter was now pregnant with their second child, a baby girl, who would make their little family complete!
Bihter relaxed on the bench, smiling, as Behlul sat right next to Berk, helping him build sand castles in the sandbox.
Bihter: "Aa-Aa! Berkie, don't make a mess!"
Berk: "Come on, mommy! I promise I'll clean it up.." he said while he made his adorable puppy dog face which would get anyone to melt.
Behlul: "Yes, my son is responsible! He'll clean up, don't you worry about the mess. " he said trying to tease Bihter.
Bihter: "Oh really? Then I guess both of you will only be coming inside after tidying up." she raised her eyebrows and smirked.
Behlul: "Yes boss, as you command!" he said and Berk copied him too. They all broke into laughter.
Behlul: "Alright, son. I'll go sit with your mommy. You know she really becomes a monster if I don't cheer her up these days." he said jokingly and then pretended to hide behind the sandbox to save himself.
Bihter: "Yeah, go on, Behlul Bey! Please make fun of my pregnancy hormones while I sit here carrying your child." she let out resting a hand on her belly.
Behlul: "Hah, I'm kidding, I'm sorry! My love, I'll be happy even if you slap me in the face right now. I am grateful for everything you've done, you're the strongest person I know!" he came and gave her a peck on the lips and then sat right next to her. Bihter lay her head on his chest and he caressed her hair and then proceeded to kiss her head.
Bihter: "I love you." she said sweetly as she put her arms around him.
Behlul: "I love you more, my sweet little angel!" he said as he put his hand on her belly, feeling her baby bump. "I can't wait till I get to meet my little princess! My sweet little baby will be just like her mommy, a beautiful strong girl!" he smiled as he held up Bihter's chin and looked into her eyes, smiling.
Bihter: "She'll be the luckiest girl, to have a daddy like you! I'm so proud of you, Behlul! You're the best father, husband and partner I could ever ask for!"
Behlul: "It's all because of you, Bihter Haznedar!" he smiled and kissed her gently.

They were the happiest they had ever been; so content and grateful to have gotten everything they had dreamt of. Behlül had changed so much over these years; nobody could have guessed he would become such a family man. All his life, he longed to have his own family, as he himself had lost his parents very young. Bihter, too, came from a broken home, too, which affected her mental health at a very young age. They did not want their kids to go through what they did so they made sure to spend time, understanding, loving and caring for them!
B&B spent the rest of their life loving each other to eternity and adventuring and exploring the world together, all while raising their perfect little family. 

And that's how it ended, folks! Their love story was something for the ages to remember. All you need is a little courage to fight for your love and you'll be the happiest!
