An exciting tale about two beautiful souls who fell in love at the wrong time!

P.S: You can skip this summary and jump off to the first chapter if you have watched the tv series. I took the story forwards from Episode 64; the scene where Behlul meets Bihter at her hotel suite, saying the heart breaking yet infamous "You really are Mrs. Firdevs' daughter" dialogue.

In a mansion on the shore of Istanbul's blue waters, lived Bihter, a young and beautiful girl, who lost her dad due to a heart attack. The reason for his death was Firdevs. (Bihter's Mom) After her husband's death, Firdevs layed her eyes on Adnan, an old but rich businessman who was also a friend of her late husband. Firdevs wanted to marry him so she could have a hold of his wealth and social standing.

Adnan on the other hand was interested in Firdevs' daughter, Bihter, who was nearly as old as his own daughter Nihal. He proposed to Bihter and she hastily said yes, just in order to get revenge on her mom for all she had done to destroy their family. Bihter married Adnan, although she did not feel anything for him romantically. What she felt for him was mere respect. She tried her best to become a good wife and a good step mom to Adnan's kids. All her efforts went in vain because of Adnan's bratty daughter Nihal, who didn't give Bihter any chance.

Slowly, things started to become complicated and issues started to arise in Bihter and Adnan's marriage. Adnan loved her but didn't give her the status of the lady of the house. He constantly sided with the servants or with his daughter and their nanny Miss Deniz, against Bihter which started to hurt Bihter alot. She started to regret her decision of marrying Adnan.

In all this madness, she found herself a friend at this dysfunctional mansion; Behlul Haznedar. Behlul was Adnan's relative who came to live with him since he was a kid because he lost both his parents in an accident. Behlul was famous all over Istanbul for his playboy image. His uncle funded his womanising and partying lifestyle. Rather than making sure Behlul focused on his studies, Adnan spoilt him and laughed off his problematic lifestyle. Bihter hated Behlul in the beginning because he had a fling with her elder sister, Peyker, so she knew him from then. She didn't know much about him other than the fact that he was a good-for-nothing playboy. Behlul, too, disliked Bihter thinking she was arrogant and cold, very different from other women around him.

When Bihter married Adnan and shifted to the Ziyagil mansion, she got to see a side to Behlul that she had never seen before. Behind the partying casanova, was a lonely and hurt young boy, who hid his loneliness and pain behind humour and partying. No one could see through what he really was, except Bihter, because their situation was quite the same; two broken souls, hiding behind smiles, pretending like everything was alright. They eventually became friends and the hatred wore off. He would understand her, he would talk to her whenever she was sad over something. He would get her point of view, unlike Adnan who never actually understood her. He knew how to handle her when she was mad about something.

Both of them, started to sense how similar they were to each other. This brought them even closer. Initially, Bihter just saw him as a friend while Behlul started to develop feelings for her. The more they spent time together, the closer they got. It was inevitable that Bihter fell for him too. What they felt for each other, was something, both of them had never experienced before. It was confusing and exhausting as they tried to stay away from each other because they didn't want to hurt Adnan.

With each passing day, it became impossible to ignore their feelings for each other. Behlul gave in and kissed Bihter, starting their affair. Bihter, panicked, slapped Behlul and ran off. Guilt overcame her for cheating on Adnan, who did not deserve to be hurt. She tried everything in her might to keep her distance from Behlul after the kiss, even tried to get him engaged to his girlfriend so he would stop pursuing her.
