Susan
Society always treated the Succubus with caution as the pheromones they kept releasing tends to cause a stir of misunderstandings, especially with men. I wasn't surprised to see a few male scientists ogle me during the experiments. I guess I could understand why they wanted to experiment with me, I was a half-breed. A cross between a succubus and an elf. I guess the mix of blood diluted both genes. I didn't have the pointy ears of an elf or the tail of a succubus but I had wings that allowed me to fly around. The pheromones I release are nowhere near as potent a pure succubus but it still did the trick.
I glared daggers at a human, who was eyeing my rear end. "You want some, darling?"
He nodded a little bit enthusiastically before coming over. I pulled his tie so that our lips were inches away from each other before puckering my lips up. He closed his eyes and leaned in for the kill, only to feel the sensation of a kick to his nether regions.
"Oh babe, I already have a boyfriend. Did I forget to mention that?"
He tried to slap me but grabbed him by the wrist and threw him over my shoulder onto the metal table. I pressed a claw up against his throat and whispered. "I ain't no damsel in distress, I could kill you right now."
He was calm despite the situation. "You wouldn't dare. Remember what happened last time you killed one of us?"
I instantly shivered at the memory of the heinous experiment I went trough after I killed a guard when he slapped my bottom. I immediately let him go. "Once I get out o here, you're dead. Until then, have some goddamn courtesy when you work, for god's sake!"
The scientist rubbed his wrist before returning to his table to grab a syringe. "You succubus don't deserve courtesy. Your ability itself is proof of the disgusting creatures you are!"'
I just laughed. "Well, this disgusting creature just turned you into a dog in heat in seconds. What's wrong, doc? Performance issues with the wife?"
He was furious. "Don't bring my wife into this!"
I decided to keep on pushing. "Does she know what a douche, her husband is?"
He let a punch fly towards me. I ducked and instead placed a claw on his arm as the punch passed by. A precise line formed across the arm as blood gushed out from the neat line.
I made an exaggerated gasp before saying. "Doc! What did you do to yourself? You should know how sharp my claws are."
He let out a cry of pain charging directly at me. I casually leaned to the side and stretched out a leg in front him, causing him to trip and fall face first to the ground. I laughed uncontrollably. "You'll need to lose all that fat to come close to hitting me, doc."
"I would like to kindly ask you to stop bullying my staff, Susan," said an all too familiar voice.
I turned to face the man behind all the torture I had endured. He was definitely a looker. With a solid build and piercing blue eyes, the man in front of me started off his long career as a model but what made this man dangerous was his ideals. He absolutely despised the mythical creatures, he wouldn't even try to imagine us living together in harmony. From that single ideology, he used everything to get to where he is now. A brilliant entrepreneur, an even more diabolical man.
"What the hell do you want, Damion?"
He clasped his hands together and gave me a smile. "You haven't figured that out yet? I want the destruction of all your kind."
His face immediately turned dark before shouting. "And I can't do shit without my people so sit you tiny ass down!"
I wasn't scared of him but I knew what he could do to the others. He seemed to see the concern on my face and he instantly returned to his previous demeanour. "Or do I have to make an example out of someone?"
"They're children!"
Damion held up a hand to silence me. "No, they're abominations! I know you can withstand the experiments but can they? Choose your next words carefully. I say one word and my men will execute all of them!"
I immediately fell silent, he had that leverage over me. Somewhere on this damn building are hundreds of different types of children of the mythical beings, holding on to dear life. I turned around and went back to my metal table and lied down.
Damion snickered. "Now, that's a good beast."
He motioned for the men, who were positioned all around the room with their guns trained on me, to take the scientist I just roughed up to the infirmary. I chuckled a little at that, at least they knew I was a fighting machine. I gave Damion the finger before saying. "You'll get what's coming to you , Damion. He'll stop you."
Damion sighed. "Once I'm done with you, Susan. The governments of every nation will see the horrible creature you are. You have no idea what's to come. Nobody can stop this, not even your precious Mark."
I believed in god, whether it was Hodjat or the god the humans worshipped. "Where there is evil, there will always be good to rise up against it."
"Even though you are a hard nut, Susan, the truth will always be clear as day. You'll always be the girl, wishing upon a star, upon a miracle when its clear it will never ever happen," said Damion before exiting the lab.
The scientists strapped me to the table and I brace myself for the excruciating pain I'm going to feel. I look straight ahead at the ceiling and silently pray. Damn it, Mark. What the hell you doing? Why you so damn slow?!
I felt the needle pierce my skin and the sedative enter my body, I immediately felt drowsy. The world needs you, Mark!
