14: Captured truth

As the man took his mask off, the four survivors' mouths were wide agape. 

''TONI?!'' (lol I feel so bad for playing y'all)

''Hey, everyone'' Toni said with a smile. 

''Fangs, Sweet Pea, get them out of those cuffs'' Toni told the two guys and they nodded as they cut the rope. 

Veronica, Betty and Cheryl immediately went over to Toni and hugged him as tight as they could. ''I can't believe you're fricking alive!'' Cheryl said and hugged him once again. ''I could say the same for you. How did you survive?'' He asked and their faces turned into confusion. ''How did we survive what?'' Betty asked. ''Nevermind. Let's get you some rooms to stay in. Dilton, can you please show our guests their rooms?'' Toni said and a skinnier guy nodded.

''Wait. Can I talk to you for a second?'' Cheryl asked and Toni nodded, turning to his bodyguards. ''Privacy, please'' He said and they nodded, also leaving. 

Toni looked at Cheryl in adoration. ''God, I missed you so much'' He said and kissed her slowly and softly. Cheryl kissed him back, grabbing the back of his neck, pulling him closer. They pulled away and Cheryl spoke up. ''What happened to you?'' She asked.

Toni sighed and took a step back, looking out on the balcony. ''They did things to me. Some fucked up shit'' He said. ''Who did?'' Cheryl asked. ''Dr Evernever and his army'' He replied.

''Army?'' 

''Yeah, his kingdom is called Zion. Ours is called Octandria'' Toni said. 

''I can't talk about it. Not yet'' He added and Cheryl nodded understandingly.

''We should head to the rest'' Cheryl said and Toni nodded. ''Come on, this way'' Toni said and took Cheryl's hand. 

They walked past some rooms which scared Cheryl but it was okay because she trusted Toni with her whole life.

They reached another complex of the building. Toni opened a door and revealed the three others talking while sitting on the beds. They looked up. ''Hey. Did Dilton take good care of you?'' Toni asked and they nodded. ''What happened when I was gone?'' He asked. ''Nothing much. We didn't have to do any challenges since that thing with you happened'' Betty replied and Toni nodded. 

''That was some freaky shit'' Veronica said.

''We thought you died. What did they do to you?'' Reggie asked. 

''I can't tell you yet. But what I can tell you is what the hell happened'' Toni said. ''You all should sit down'' He added and everyone sat down on the couch. 

''Okay, ever since that thing happened to me, Dr Evernever has been planning an even crazier plan. They took me to a cell but it wasn't in the building. But then, I discovered that we were on the sea the whole time'' Toni began. ''Wait, what?'' Betty asked confusedly. ''I know. But the worst is yet to come. I don't know what they told you, but when you got infected with the cloth, they were taking you to me. Well, they tried to. But on your way over, there was a toxic explosion, which killed everyone, I assumed''

''I managed to get out of the cell and saw I ended up here. In the woods. Apparently, the toxic explosion affected the whole world. But I met survivors. Joaquin, Sweet Pea, Fangs, and to my surprise, Archie and Josie. We slowly built a camp, which later became a village. We picked up other survivors and now, we have an army, meds, security and all of that stuff'' Toni explained. ''Wow,'' Veronica said. 

''Wait. How did we survive?'' Cheryl asked and Toni sighed.

''The cloth'' He replied. 

''What's with the cloth?'' Betty asked. ''They infect you with Serolinum, a liquid that makes you immortal for a short amount of time. That's how I discovered that Joaquin, Fangs and Sweet Pea were also captured by Dr Evernever'' Toni said with a sad tone. ''So, everyone in this village was all part of Dr Evernever's plan?'' Veronica asked and Toni nodded. 

''Shit. That's so messed up'' Reggie said. 

''So, what now?'' Betty asked. 

''Well, before we do anything else, you guys need Octan mark'' Toni said.

''What's an Octan mark?'' Cheryl asked. 

''It's basically a tattoo with the symbol of our kingdom. Like this'' Toni said and pulled up his sleeve, revealing a flame with a sword through it. ''Seriously?'' Betty asked. ''Yes, but before you even do that, I have to let my people vote'' Toni replied.

''Vote for what?'' Veronica asked. 

''Vote if you can stay or have to be executed''
