As you, Goggles, and Specs left the arena, Goggles kept going on and on about who you're about to meet.

Goggles: Rider is a very cool guy! He may come off as a bit mean at times, but he really is nice!

Specs: Yeah he is nice. Nice, because he didn't kill you for what you did that cost him the match against us.

Y/n: Oh, didn't you pants him?

Goggles nods his head rapidly. After walking for a few more minutes, you come across an Inkling with yellow-green tentacles and a leather jacket on.

Goggles: Yo, Rider!

Rider turns around. A scowl on his face.

Y/n: He looks pretty pissed.

Goggles: Yeah he always looks like that. Hey Rider.

Rider: What do you want?

Specs backed up a bit, slightly scared at Rider. However, Goggles kept his smile on and ran up to Rider.

Goggles: I wanted to introduce you to a new friend! Meet Y/n.

Rider: Y/n, huh?

He walks over and starts to examine you. After a while he grows a smile on his face.

Rider: Well, you seem like a good enough guy.

The four of you spent a few hours talking and getting to know each other. Rider did seem like a nice enough guy. Soon they got a notification that the arenas were back open, meaning Turf Wars were open again.

Rider: Well, I had a good time, but I've got to get some training in.

As Rider walked away, Goggles got an idea.

Goggles: Wait, Rider! Let's all do some Turf Wars!

Specs whispered to you.

Specs: Wait, do you know how Turf Wars work?

Y/n: No.

Specs: How about turning into a squid?

Y/n: Wait, you can do that?

Specs told Rider and Goggles to wait for a moment. Specs took you over to a shop and got you a weapon. Considering that he saw your skills with your Keyblade, he got you an inkbrush. Afterwards, he taught you how to turn into a squid. After a while you finally started getting a hang of it. And he showed you how to use the brush.

Specs: Alright Y/n. Firstly, don't step into the enemy ink. It'll slow and damage you. Secondly, after attacking for a while, your ink tank will deplete. Go into any part of the arena covered in our ink and turn into a squid. It will let you hide, go faster and refill your tank. Got all that?

You nod, a smile on your face. With everything ready, your team walked into the arena. Surprisingly, they all decided to change to your color. When the countdown finished you, Rider, and Specs rushed forward. You and Specs went right with both of your inkbrushes. Rider went left with his roller. And Goggles went down the middle. Shooting with his Splattershot.

After inking a good line, you dived into your ink, refilling your ink. But when you came back up, charging at you was another roller. By instinct, you used your new agility to jump high over the roller user, and splatted them with an over-head slash. But, your small victory was cut short as you felt a small pinch in the back of your head, and you were splatted. Specs spawned next to you soon after.

Specs: Splat-Charger. Their good too. Alright Y/n. You go back the same way, I'll catch up with Rider.

You nod. You quickly swim back to where you were and began inking the rest of the area. This time you kept an ear out for the shot. Once you heard, you dodged to the side. Following the trail, you quickly ran up and ran up the wall, leading you to the charger. Quickly taking care of them, you gave your team a chance to move forward. After a few minutes, the alarm was sound. You won. It was close, but you won your first Turf War.
