You woke up when you felt something fall across your chest. Turning over, you saw the sleeping face of Bobble. She was lightly snoring as she nuzzled herself closer to you. Soon though her eyes started slowly opening. She yawned and opened her eyes completely, smiling as she looked at you.
Bobble: Good morning Y/n. Did you sleep good?
Y/n: For once, yeah. No strange dreams or anything.
Bobble: That's great! Let's hope it stays like that. Now come on, breakfast is probably ready. Then we gotta go and meet up with the others for our training.
You slowly get up and walk downstairs with Bobble. Rose was just setting the plates down when you entered the dining room.
Bobble: Morning Mom!
Rose: Good morning you two! Come on and eat, if your training today you'll need the energy.
You all sat down and enjoyed the meal Rose made. After eating and thanking Rose, you and Bobble walked over to the Plaza hand in hand. Along the way, you heard people whisper.
Male Inkling: Hey, isn't that Bobble from stupid Team Blue?
Female Inkling: Yeah, it is. And what's a cutie like him doing with a freak like her?
You felt Bobble begin to loosen her grip on your hand. You looked over at her to see her smile begin to falter. You thought quickly and and got in front of Bobble. You leaned in and kissed her in front of everyone, shocking everybody, even Bobble. After staying like that for a few seconds, you pulled away. Afterwards you looked at the crowd, daring someone to say something else. Thankfully, no one said anything.
Bobble: Y/n...?
Y/n: Come on. We're gonna be late if we linger any longer.
Her smile grew bigger, if that's even possible, and latched on to your arm. Once her team came into view, Headphones looked in your direction and practically squealed out in happiness.
Headphones: Oh my cod! They look so cute together!
Specs: Isn't it a bit early for them to start dating? I mean, they only met a few days ago.
Headphones: You may be right, but look at her. We've seen her smile, but not like that. She always has a gigantic smile on her face, but right now she just looks genuinely happy.
Specs: Yeah she does look happy. Well, we're here and Bobble arrived, now... WHERE THE HECK IS GOGGLES?!
Goggles: Here I am!
Rider: I'm here too.
Goggles: You're watching a match today Rider? Which team?
Rider: Army's Team Orange.
Specs: A-Army? As in... one of the S4!?
Headphones: S-S4!?
Random Inkling: The famous S4!?
Goggles: What? UFO?
Specs: S4! ESS! FOUR!
Y/n: What's the S4?
Bobble: It's a title given to the four best Turf War teams. There's Army, Aloha, Mask and Skull.
Specs: The big four of the S+ rankers.
Rider: They're even stronger than me.
Goggles: What? Stronger than you?
Rider: But I'll catch up to them soon.
