Callum's P.O.V.
I don't understand what Hazel's problem was.
I mean I know earlier it was her family and friends who were trying to hold her away from me, but Why now?I don't understand why would her family lock her away from me. Wasn't it clear that I was just looking out for their daughter. Everything I did was to protect my little Haze.
It's not like I don't trust my girl, I did. More than anything, in this world. But that doesn't mean I trusted others. This is a vile world, you never know who's sitting behind the screen talking to you, she didn't know how perverted eyes followed her, wherever she went. Even when I was with her. God knows what could have happened If I would have just left her alone in that school. Every guy wanted to talk to her. Her partners wouldn't look at the teacher, but her.
I don't have words, to describe what I wanted to do to each one of them. So, I did what was needed, I taught each one of them a lesson, they would never forget.
I knew she needed her space. Apparently, every girl needs that shit for some reason. I would never understand the reason.
So, I started looking out for her, in my own harmless ways. It wasn't a big deal really, I would just tell one of the guys to follow her car when she told me she was going out. Just to make sure she's okay. I would follow her sometimes, when she went shopping with her friends. They were dangerous.
I know what you must be thinking, she belonged in a 'hello kitty' group. But let me tell you, those are the most lethal ones around. They had the tendency to walk straight, into trouble without even realising it. All the waiters and cashiers would flirt with her shamelessly, and she didn't even realise it. She thought there still are good men out there who are just trying to be polite. What a joke, Really? People being polite to a perfectly able, beautiful girl. If they want to be polite, why don't they go and help the blind cross the road, or, or... save a cat from a tree, or something.
I had to make sure, no one took advantage of her helpful nature. So, I did the only logical thing possible, I told the guys, to hack her Social Media and her Iphone. What's the big deal in that? It's not like she had anything to hide. I mean, we were practically a married couple.
I knew her friends never liked me, because they were jealous of her. Jealous that she had the best boyfriend ever. I knew they must be so happy, when her family did what it did.
I knew they all will try to break us apart.
So, I gave her the space she needed. I stopped trying to contact her. I gave her time to think this through. There was nothing to think really. She just needed to understand that what I did was necessary.
I gave, and gave, and gave, without expecting anything in return. I gave her space too, even though that's not something I do.
In school, I thought she'll jump in my arms and kiss the hell out of me, making up for all the time we had spent apart. But, she didn't, instead she spat those words at me, like we had no relationship at all.
I was confused, puzzled, but mostly infuriated. I did my time. I gave her space. I transferred to Evermore, even when Principal Campbell, begged me to stay. I left all my friends behind, for her. I was ready to start a new life here, with her.
Now her family was out of the picture. She won't transfer somewhere else so soon, I knew. It was impossible. So why didn't she just come running to me, like she was suppose to. It doesn't make sense.
But I've had it enough. Now, she must know, who is incharge. She must know, that a proper girlfriend, isn't supposed to act like that.
I love her and she loves me too. I know that, she just forgot. But I would be more than happy to refresh her memory.
Things were about to change.
