I have learned over the years a useful tip that I am going to share with you now:
Telling someone not to worry about something does not make them not worry. Telling someone not to cry does not make them stop. Telling someone not to hate does not prevent them from doing so. Telling someone to do something does not mean they are going to do it, it means you've given them an idea of what they should do. But you see, they don't have to do it. It's free will.

I've been locked up in my previous basement for about two weeks now. Jim has stopped down every day to give me somewhat of a meal and then quickly leaves without a word. He's been acting..strange. I think something may be going on between him and Robert. Tension maybe. I don't know, maybe I'm overreacting. I am just a missing kid, aren't I?
Anyway, I've been noticing some weird changes involving my body. I haven't lost any weight, which is not normal considering I've only been getting fed once every day. I am getting weaker though, I very rarely stand up. When I do, I feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders, and I get so undescribably dizzy. I guess this is what it's like for people who star in horror movies. Except they don't actually go through the pain and sufferings.
Robert burst down the steps in a furious state muttering something about an Olivia.
"She should be thrown down here with you." He said to me. "Who?" I asked weakily.
"Your so-called mother, " he said viciously, "she's not your mother. She's a missing kid like you. Olivia Newton, ha! She was a suspect in my murder case. Then I took her during the night. The bitch, she wouldn't even agree to keep quiet. I saved her life, and the kind of thank you I get is a dumbass for a wife. "
"You actually married her? Wow, I never thought you could be that sentimental, Robert. "
"Yes. Hate at first sight I believe. She had so much and was about to lose it all. I hated her for it. She was going to lose a fortune that was left for her, but instead, she went missing also. " What an ass.
"Well, you know, she could have been found innocent. " I retorted quickly.
"She was innocent, you idiot. Why else would I have taken her?"
Robert came over to me and took my neck in his left hand. "Next time you defend her, I will kill you. "
But I was already dead.
