Chapter 11

Mary, Elizabeth and Katherine has all gone for a sleepover at one of their friends houses.
"What Film shall we see?"
"I want to watch a horror!" Anna exclaimed.
"Me too!" Parr added
"YAS! I love horror!" Anne added.
"I can do horror," Catherine responded.
"I'm just going to check on Edward, I'll be down in a sec," Jane said as she got up off the sofa. She always hated horror films, but the others loved them. She would just play off being scared and then be quite sleepless for a few nights after. Jane often has to comfort and look after the others so when she needs it, it just doesn't happen.
She came downstairs to find the others had already put on "Deluded" a new film rated the scariest of all time. Jane took a seat next to Catherine.
"Hey babe, Edward alright?" Catherine asked as Jane sat down, leaning on her.
"Yeah, he's fine, "
Catherine noticed her girlfriend was avoiding the screen.
"I need a drink, anyone want one? Jane asked everyone but got a no from the whole group. Catherine followed.
"Jane, are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine" She finished filling up her glass, then turned around with her back leaning against the edge of the counter.
"No, no you're not" A loud scream came from the lounge, Jane shuddered.
"See, you're not fine, I love you and want to know what's wrong" She placed her hand on Jane's shoulder.
"Okay, you got me, I really hate horror, I can't sleep for days after and I..."
"Well why didn't you just say so? I know Boleyn doesn't find that difficult." Jane rolled her eyes.
"Because everyone loves it, and we all have to give a little,"
"Jane, you don't give a little, you give so so much, you look after absolutely everyone and make sure no-one is ever upset, you took Kitty as a daughter when she could barely trust anyone, you get up at all hours for whoever needs you, except you're forgetting to look after yourself, a very important person to so many people, "
"Catherine, I.."
"CATHERINE, JANE, COME HERE YOU'RE MISSING ALL THE ACTION!" Came a commend from the other room.
"Let's go back in,"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure."
The couple walked in the room, Jane sat down first, then Catherine followed.
"Aww this is going to be so gory!" Anna exclaimed.
"Ekk!" Anne squealed in excitement.
"Oooohhh!" Parr added.
Just as it was going to get intense, Catherine pointed the buttons at the TV and turned it off. A small smile appeared on Jane's face.
"Catherine!"
"We were watching that!"
"What the actual hell Catherine, I'm going to...."
"Anne, do not finish that sentence," Parr said sternly.
"Guys, I don't know if you are too self-absorbed to notice but Jane flipping hates horror films."
"No, Catherine, I can stand them..."
"No, Jane, you and I both know you can't, " She briefly changed her tone to soft but quickly changed it back.
"She does so much for you, and it's as if you just take her for granted. Every time we've watched a film, if it's horror, she up all night not being able to sleep if it's romance, she's up with Boleyn, who cries at absolutely everything, and anything else someone is complaining about something, "

"I'm sorry Jane,"
"Sorry, Jane,"
"Oh, sorry Jane"
