Chapter 7

Jane felt completely helpless, Katherine practically had to restrain her mother from trying to enter the room, all the queens knew that Jane meant well but they also know that she would have a mental breakdown if they let her in.

Anne decided to use the time everyone was concentrating on Jane and Edward to attempt to cook. Unfortunately for her, but luckily for everyone else, Jane caught her and had to give her an half an hour lecture on why she's not allowed to use the oven.
"But Jane..."
"No buts, Cathy, tell your girlfriend that she's not allowed to use the oven"
"Anne, you're not allowed to use the oven," Cathy said from the next room.
"Kitty would let me," Anne said in a sulk with her arms crossed.
"Kitty is a 16-year-old girl who is suspended from school tomorrow and still in trouble from baking those biscuits - not that she knows she's in trouble yet, " Jane responded.
"Oh speak of the devil" She added as Katherine walked downstairs.
"Mum, I'm going to bed now"
"Okay sweetheart," Jane said as she hugged her daughter.
"Quickly, before you go to bed Kitty, " She turned back around to face Anne.
"Do you think I should be allowed to use the oven?"
"I think some people should trust you more, looking at no-one in particular.... mother..."
"I thought you said you were going to bed," Jane said sarcastically.
"I am, but my cousin asked me a important question."

Meanwhile, Aragon was with Edward in his room.
"I wish mummy was here"
"But you know know it would make her ill in a different way, don't you?"
"Yeah, but how?"
Catherine tried to think of a way to explain a mental breakdown to the eight-year-old.
"It can make it difficult for her to breathe and she can get really scared"
The boy looked down.
"Why?" he nervously asked. Catherine hesitated to answer but eventually she did.
"I know that you don't like to talk about this but I'm going to say it, it brings back the back memories of when she died. When she gets ill, it makes her think it might happen again and when other people, especially people she loves, it makes her think they will die"
They then snuggled until the young boy fell asleep.
