Catherine hadn't spoken to anyone other than Katherine and Edward in three days. She was just looking around Jane's room for something sentimental to have, like a necklace when she stumbled upon a small box and two accompanying notes. The first one read:
"Catherine, if you have found this note, It means that I have passed before I could ask a very important question. I had a feeling this year was going to be the year, I had restless nightmares every night and would quite often wake up and be sick in the toilet. And remember, when we arrived here, it said one of us will die early. However, I love you so much so..."
The second one read:
"Catherine of Aragon, would you have married me and become Catherine Seymour of Aragon?"
And inside the box was an engagement ring.
