I sat up slowly and wiped the dirt from my eyes. I stared at the two big wolves as they looked at me before slowly disappearing and I looked away.

"Hello Amber." I smiled as I looked at Sylvie and wrapped my arms around her tightly.

"Thank you." I sniffled.

"Anything for my Goddaughter." She passed a hand over my head and I pulled away and stared at her purple eyes.

"How long?" She frowned.

"Two weeks." The time was getting shorter.

"Do you think I'll no longer be able to do this?" She glanced away before caressing my cheek.

"You know it wasn't set in stone that you would be able to do this forever. The Goddess gave y'all time and I think it's time you let them go." I blinked and shook my head. I should. When anyone else lost their loved ones they weren't given reunions like me. They grieved until they no longer grieved. "I estimate you would have, at most, two visits again."

"So soon." I whispered.

"Well you're grown." She glanced behind me and I assumed she was looking at Gabriel before squeezing my shoulders. "You have a new mate, you have a family with that wayward son of mine and that vampire who has taken a liking to you. Don't let it all go because you have to mourn the parents you lost a very long time ago." She wiped my tears and kissed my forehead. "You have family, you are not alone." I nodded my head slowly.

"You're right." I let out a deep breath. "The next time will be the last time." I nodded my head slowly.

"But don't let it be the last time I see you." I smiled.

"I'm in Santa Clarita the next time you're travelling."

"The heat?" She made a face and I laughed. "Ready to go?" I took a deep breath and nodded. "Come here wolf." I looked behind me as Gabriel walked towards us and she gave me a mischievous smile. "You two do pair up nicely." I screwed up my face to let her know I didn't appreciate her opinion. "Hold unto each other tightly." I took Gabriel's hands in my own and looked back at her as she waved her hand and the scent of burning paper filled the air.

When the mist cleared we were standing close to the border to his pack and I stepped away and stared at him as he collapsed on the ground dry heaving.

"Have you never teleported before?" I tilted my head to the side and watched as he struggled to stand.

"No." He groaned out and I shook my head.

"Stand and lift your head back. Take a deep breath and think about your birthday and you recollect yourself faster." He watched me as though I had lost all sense and reason before doing as I said.

"Thank you." I pursed my lips before shrugging.

"Don't mention it." He was staring at me. "I'll be going now." I turned slowly

"Wait." I continued walking. "Amber?" I turned to glance at him stopping momentarily. "When am I going to see you again?" I blinked.

"What?" He smiled at me.

"Can I meet you at your place tomorrow night?"

"Why?"

"You're my mate and I would very much like to get to know you." I hummed.

"We will see."
