3 years Later

The day before your life changes feels like any other normal day.  It felt like a normal day to me.   I just lived my life with my… Wife.  Alex and I got married on December 9th.  I made sure she had the wedding she wanted.  The wedding she thought up when she was a little girl.  It still surprised me that she knew all that stuff when she was 8.

She helped me make our first two albums and went on tour with us.  Everyday never got old with her by my side.  When we sang together it took me back 3 years to when we sang together for the first time. Even though that day was ruined I still loved that moment. I made sure each day that she was taken care of and happy.  Sure we had our fights, but you know Alex, she never held a grudge to long.

While on tour she got to meet Billie Joe Armstrong.  I don't think I've ever seen that girl smile as wide.  She said she never thought she would be able to say thank you to him.  I'm glad I made that happen.

The most happiest day of my life?  Well that was when she was dared to ask me out.  The day before I thought the next day would be just as boring.  The second most happiest day of my life?  On our wedding day when I saw her walking down the aisle, elbows locked with her father.  I think everyone saw me crying, I wasn't ashamed of crying though.

The day before my life changed I remember I was with Alex above those christmas looking lights in the little cafe' I first took her too.  I told her she didn't have to dress up this time.

The day after I was told Alex was driving home at night.  She was on the freeway in the 'fast' lane.  I told her to not go so fast.  A drunk driver struck her and her car flipped over 3 times.  Everything in the was destroyed in the car, including my Alex.  One thing survived actually.  The radio.  The last song she listened to was Skylines and Turnstiles.

I found a black leather book inside a trunk in Alex's closet.  This story was written inside it.  Now I know why she was always out at night at the park, she was writing about us.

I'm sorry I had to make it interesting.  I want to say thank you sooo much or reading my story.  I am going to start a new one that has been in my head for too long and is waiting to be written down.  I have a feeling it's going to be even better. Wayy better.

GO READ MY NEW STORY!! 'I think i'll blow my brains against the ceiling."  PLEASEE :)

Signing off for now -Alex
