Caught In The Act

Chapter 1

***Emily's P.O.V***

I was just about to get ready for my date with my boyfriend, Zayn, until I heard my phone beep. I looked at it and saw that I got a text from Zayn.

"Change of plans, babe. I'm not feeling too well. I don't want to get you sick, so, I think I'll just stay home tonight. I'll make it up to you I promise. x -Z"

Aww my poor baby is sick. I'll go surprise him and cheer him up with some soup, medicine, and some movies. I put on some leggings, a baggy sweater and my ugg boots. Grabbing my everything, I texted Zayn.

"Aww, poor baby. :( Feel better! xx"

I got in my car and drove to Zayn's house which was not too far away. Once I got there, I got out and went up to the door. It was unlocked. I walked in and didn't see anyone.

"Zayn! I came to cheer you up!" I called out. No response. I walked upstairs thinking that he might be in his room. I opened the door and dropped everything. My heart stopped and tears came to my eyes, mouth open.

"How could you!" I yelled. There in front of me, was my boyfriend and my best friend, Sarah, in bed.. They both stopped what they were doing and looked at me with wide eyes. Sarah covered herself up and tried to explain.

"E-Emily. It's not what it looks like!" She tried telling me. I could tell she was trying not to cry.

"Oh, really. So you're not having sex with my boyfriend? Hm?" Tears were streaming down my face. I was so angry and hurt.

"Emily..." Zayn said with tears in his eyes.

"I hate you..." I told them both. Tears rushed down Sarah's cheeks. Zayn's expression was hurt.

"Emily.I'm so sorry.. I didn't mean fo-" Sarah started.

"I trusted you! Both of you!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

"We're done, Zayn! You're a selfish bastard!" I spat at him.

"Emily, wait!" Zayn called after me, but I was already down the stairs and out the door. I was bawling at this point. I sped off and drove home. I can't believe after 3 years of being together, that he would be so ungrateful! So selfish! I know me and Zayn have never had sex, but that's not an excuse to go and do it with my best friend! Well. Used-to-be best friend. I don't know if I can stand to go to school on Monday.. This is only the beginning of hell.
