Nellie's P.O.V

 Once the boys were all ready we got in the car. Paul drove us to the gym and dropped us off, telling us we had three hours and to make the most of it. We thanked him for the lift before heading inside the gym. I decided to do treadmill first. Zayn also did treadmills with me while the others went off to do some weight lifting.

"Nellie" Someone said and it wasn't either of the boys. I stepped onto the side of the treadmill and saw Dan, my old speedway mechanic. I used to ride for London Devils speedway and I was the only female rider in the whole of the UK. I smiled and waved at him, I would have hugged him but I was all sweaty.

"How are you doing?" He asked. The useful thing about Joe is he has a deaf sister so he learnt sign language.

'I'm good thanks. And you?' I signed.

"Yeah not bad" he replied.

'Cool' I signed.

"Will you please come back to speedway, I still have your bikes and gear?" Dan asked.

'I don't know' I signed.

"Please, it would be great to be the mechanic for the only girl rider in the UK, please Nellie?" He asked. "London have got a spot available but no one will fill it so they have to do rider replacement" he added.

'One sec, wait here' I signed and jumped off the treadmill, running over to Louis who had just put a weight down and was all sticky and sweaty. I tapped him on the shoulder and he turned to face me.

"Oh Hey Nellie" He smiled.

'You know I used to ride?' I signed.

"Yeah you loved that" He smiled.

'Well Dan asked if I would be a rider again for the London devils..... please can I do it?'

"Sure" He smiled and patted me on the head. I hugged him but instantly regretted it as he was all sweaty before going back over to Dan.

'Yeah sure' I grinned.

"Yay, our next meeting is this Saturday, I'll pick you up if you text me your address. You still have my number right?" He asked. I nodded. "Good, see you Saturday" He said. I waved and he left the gym.

Once we had finished at the gym we all piled in the car and Paul drove us home. Niall grabbed my wrist and pulled me to the side.

"Will you come with me?" He asked. I ran inside, grabbed my board and pink pen before walking back out to him. I nodded and he began to walk, so i followed. We went across a play park, through the woods and out into a clearing. It was beautiful.

It was a field and there was a wooden walk way, going half the way across a lake. Niall went and sat on the walk way before taking his shoes and socks off and hanging his feet over the edge and into the water. I did the same and surprisingly, the water was actually quite warm.

"You like it?" Niall asked. I nodded.

'It's very pretty :) ' I wrote.

"I come here sometimes to chill out, or before we go on tour, it is similar to one back near where i lived in Mullingar" He said. I nodded, understanding that it was his special place.

"Now there's two things i want to say" Niall said. I looked up at him waiting for him to continue. "First i have a mission" He smiled.

'Whats that?' I wrote.

"To get you talking. I dont care how long it take, i will get you to speak" He grinned.

'Good luck with that one' I wrote and smiled as i showed him.

"Secondly....... this will be awkward" He mumbled.

'Don't worry, I'll listen' I wrote.

"I like you" He said.

'What?' I wrote.

"I like you, more than just a friend. I know we only just met but whenever you hug me i get sparks, the other night when you came to me, i felt special, you're really pretty and funny, even though you cant talk and i love all of your boyish hobbies" He said.

'Thanks' I wrote, smiling at what he just said. What he didnt know is that i had been liking him for a couple of days as well.

'I have felt the same for a while' I wrote after rubbing my previous thing clean.

"Really?" He asked. I nodded.

"So Nellie Tomlinson will you be my girlfriend?" Niall asked.

I looked at him before taking a deep breath. I nodded and the worry on his face just wached away, soon to be replaced by a big grin. I smiled too and shuffled closer to him so we could hug.

"Thank you" He whispered.

That night i was laying in bed, just thinking about that days events. It was absolutely crazy. First we all went to the gym, then Dan happend to be there and asked to take me back on speedway, which i accepted, then when we got back Nial took me to his 'special place' and it was actuallu a really pretty place. He then asked me to be his girlfriend which took me by surprise but i said i wood and here i was laying in his bed. I had decided to go to bed a bit earlier because i was tired and Niall said he would be up later.

I was staring at the ceiling when the door opened. Niall walked in and closed it after him. He changed into a pair of shorts in his en suite and took his t-shirt off before climbing into bed. I pretended to be asleep and hugged him.

"I love you" He whispered and it wasnt long till i fell asleep.
