 I opened my laptop and went onto Skype. It said Harry was online so I clicked call. It rang and he picked up so I called Louis in to join me.

"Happy Birthday mate! Louis smiled.

"Thanks" Harry replied.

"I cant believe you're 20!" I said.

"I know, I feel old" Harry said. 

"Excuse me Styles, correct me if im wrong but I am older than you!" Louis said.

"You don't act like it" Harry mumbled.

"Heard that!" Louis retorted.  Harry just chuckled.

"We sent a box of gifts in the post yesterday" I said to him. 

"Thanks" He replied.

"No worries" I smiled.

"DANIEL!" I squealed as his van pulled up. "Guys im going, the match is at seven" I added and left, getting into the passenger side if the van. 

"That is the first time i have heard you speak" Dan said, soundig surprised.

"I havent been talking long" I replied as we drove to the stadium. 

"Nellie" Trevor our manager said to me.

"Yes Trev?" I said, everyone was shocked but happy that i was speaking again.

"We've had a team talk over the week and we think we will look better as a team if we have the only female rider as our team captain" Trevor explained.

"So will you take the position of being captain?" Cameron asked

"Sure" I replied, nodding nervously.

"Cool lets go" Cameron said and we got onto the back of the pick up. As we were going round the track i saw Louis and the girls all clapping and cheering which did make me smile.

We then got off the pick up, they introduced our teams, said i was the new captain and we got on with out practise lap. When the red flags were being waved we all came off the track and went back into the pits.

"And now we will have a quick chat with London's new captain Nellie Tomlinson" The commentator said. I had to quickly take off my helmet and run out to the centre of the track.

"So Nellie, What is it like to be captain?" He asked me.

"Good, we have a great team so yeah" I replied, nervously. I still wasn't used to speaking publicly.

"What is it like to be the only female rider in the UK?" he asked.

"Good, I'm proud that I'm the only female and I really enjoy riding" I replied.

"One last question before tonight's match will start. We've heard that you've only recently started speaking again, is this true?" He asked me.

"um yeah. Things happened I went quiet but with the support of a few close friends I am talking again" I explained, not really wanting to go into much detail.

"Cool. Thanks for talking with us. Go and get ready to race" he smiled and patted me on the back. I nodded and waved at everyone as I walked off the track and back to the pits.

"That was so difficult" I mumbled as I sat down.

"Well done though" Dan smiled.

I don't think I would have done that if none of the boys weren't here....
