 Nellie's P.O.V

The next day I woke up with a really bad stomach ache. I glanced at the calendar on my phone.

  January 20th: Period Due :( x

 Well that solved that one. Ugh! Yesterday Louis and I spent an hour trying to get me to speak but it never actually worked. I was close to speaking a couple of times.

Niall wasn't in bed so he must have already gotten up. I just pulled the duvet up to my chin and snuggled in it, hoping it would tale the pain away......

It didn't...

Niall walked into the room and sat on the bed beside me. I had my eyes closed but I knew it was him because of his cologne. His hand was placed upon my forehead and brushed the hair from it. I opened my eyes and smiled at him, even though I was in pain, both with my ribs and my stomach ache.

"You alright babe?" Niall asked. I shook my head.

"Is it hurting?" He asked. I nodded my head.

"aw, is it just that?"

Do I tell him?

I shook my head.

"What else is wrong little one?" He asked and kissed my cheek. I gave him the are-you-being-serious look, hoping he would understand.

"Girly things?" He questioned. I nodded, glad that I didn't have to explain later.

"Right" He said awkwardly. "I'll be back in a bit" He said and put on a jacket and shoes, adding a beanie onto his head.

"where are you going?" I signed. That was one thing I knew that he knew.

"I'll be back. I wont be long, promise babe" He said and gave me a quick kiss before leaving. I just layed there and grabbed my phone. I went on twitter and sent a tweet.

A few minutes later, my phone pinged signalling I had a notification.

I smiled and pushed the covers off me before going to the bathroom. When I was done i pushed my hair back with a head band and went back and layed on my bed. I get affected by my period really bad, like i get huge cramps, its generally quite heavy and my thighs ache a lot. Sometimes i feel sick but that hasn't happened yet.

I was scrolling through my phone when the door opened and Niall bounded in, closing it behind him and kicking off his shoes. He passed me a box before taking his jacket and beanie off and jumping onto the double bed beside me.

"Open it" He grinned. I opened it and saw The Notebook and Love Actually DVD's on the top. I took them out and saw The Fault In Our Stars book, a cute little teddy bear, a bar of chocolate, a pack of ibuprofen and a pack of pads. I smiled and hugged him. Times like these are when i love my boyfriend.

"It was so awkward buying those, the guy at the till gave me such an awkward look" Niall laughed, pointing to the pads which made me smile. Oh Niall......

It was later that day and i was feeling a bit better. Niall and i had watched the two films this morning and i thought that they were great. I was currently sat out in the garden alone while the boys had a tour rehearsal. I was trying to talk, to see if i could do it to myself. If i could, i was going to do it to the boys tomorrow. I was really pushing myself to speak as i wanted to surprise them. And me, i hadnt heard my voice in ages.

I took a sip from a water bottle i had beside me. I then took a deep breath. I tried to say my name but it didnt work. I kept trying, and on the 13th time i managed to say my name. My voice was weird and scratchy as i hadnt used my voice in years. I smiled in shock, i actually spoke. I am so going to surprise the boys tomorrow.
