Mute - Niall Horan

"Stop" I said as Niall was poking my face to wake me up. It had been two days since I had forgiven Niall and things had been going okay.

"Get up then" Niall laughed.

"But its warm!" I mumbled. Niall wrapped his arms around my cold body and pulled me onto his lap.

"I have a present for you" Niall said.

"What is it?" I asked.

"We have to go out to get it" he replied.

"I'll be ready in ten minutes" I said. Niall nodded and went downstairs. I got up and had a shower. When I was done I blow dried my hair and put on a pair of jeans with my black nirvana shirt and one of Niall's zip up jackets. I then went downstairs to join the boys in the living room.

"You ready?" Niall asked as he got up. He came over to me and gave me a hug, he then rested his chin on top of my head because he was just a little bit taller than me.

"Yep" I replied.

"Guys we're going out we'll be back in a bit" Niall called to the others and we left.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"It is within walking distance and that is all I can tell you" Niall said. I smiled and grabbed his hand as we walked along the path.

"The pet store?" I asked as we stood outside of it.

Niall nodded. "I'm going to get you a pet and it can be any animal you like" He said.

"a kitten" I cheered.

"A kitten it shall be" He confirmed before we walked inside.

"Hello, how can I help?" The lady asked. I looked up at Niall hoping he would get the hint and speak as I didn't feel comfortable speaking now.

"We're looking for a kitten" Niall said.

"Right this way" The lady said and lead us to the back corner of the shop. "This is the cat and kitten section, feel free to play with them" she said and opened the gate so we could go in. Niall thanked her and we bent down to look at the fluffy animals.

"They're so fluffy" Niall said.

"agreed" I smiled.

"We do have a couple more, they're sisters but don't like being with other cats and don't like being separated, would you like to see them?"  The woman asked. I nodded and she let us into the small room. The two kittens meowed and came up to us. I picked one up and held it.

"What are their names?" Niall asked.

"Well the black ginger and white one which you are holding is called Ruby and the brown tabby kitten is called Jessie." The woman said. 

"They're so cute" I whispered. 

"Would you like to get them both?" Niall asked me. 

"Really? Both?" I asked. Niall nodded. "Yes please" I grinned.

"We'll take them" Niall told the lady.

"Now we need to get the essentials" I said.

We got cat food,, two bowls a pink one and a purple one, we got a bed and a few cat toys as well as a cat basket to take them home in. We got told we weren't allowed to let them out the house for three weeks so they got used to the area. We paid before leaving and taking Jessie and Ruby home.

"Back!" I called as we walked into the house.

"Did you get a pet?" Zayn asked.

"We got two!" I smiled and opened the cat basket. Jessie and Ruby came out of the cat basket and sort of sat in the middle of the room not knowing what to do.

"They're sisters, the brown tabby is called Jessie and the black one is Ruby" Niall said.

"They're so cute" Zayn said in aw. I picked one up and put it on his lap. Ruby instantly curled up and went to sleep while Zayn stroked her.

I was laying in bed with Niall and he was hugging my torso. My phone then began to ring so i grabbed it from the bedside cabinet.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey Nellie" Dan my speedwaymechanic said.

"Hey" I replied.

"I have a question" He said.

"Go ahead" I replied.

"There is going to be a speedwaty grand prix in three weeks time at our home track. I have been asked if you will ride with Tai from Wolverhampton in it. You will be working together to get points for Great Britain and hopefully come first." Dan asked.

"uh let me check the calendar" I said and pushed the phone against the pillow.

"When is your tour?" i asked Niall.

"End of april why?" He mumbled sleepily.

"tell you in a sec" I said and picked the phone back up.

"Yeah i can do it" I replied.

"Okay well see you at our next match in a week" Dan said.

"Okay see ya"

"bye" He said and hung up. I put the phone back on the bedside cabinet.

"w-what was that ab-about" Niall mumbled half asleep.

"I'm riding next week and in 3 weeks for the grand prix" i told him.

"You know i t-think its dange-dangerous" he mumbled.

"babe, just chill and go to sleep" I said.

"Why?" He mumbled.

"You're half asleep now" I laughed and pushed his hair from his face before closing my eyes and slowly falling asleep myself.
