When it was reported that the new couple were having a normal date at a public picnic park, a lot of people shared their opinions under the comment thread of every post related to them.

Reading these comments and posts related to them always intrigued Jungkook. It was always known to him that netizens liked to start rumors.
The idol had to admit, despite the sudden announcement of a new couple that was almost never seen or heard from before, besides in fanfiction, there were already fake speculations and stories of how they had seen the couple out in public before they were actually announced, those stories spread and now it was a fact their fandoms now knew and accepted.
'that's what i call the mandela effect'.
As most have probably guessed, the planned picnic went surprisingly well. It gained the idols and their respective groups more attention and now everyone and their mother knew about BTS and BLACKPINK.
The guarded area was blocked off from people by stanchions like at a red carpet, it look ridiculous to have that at a picnic park but these were idols you were talking about. If anybody got too close the guards would step in and escort the sasaengs and reporters with no boundaries out.
