"Moooooooom!!" Brian called, coming in the kitchen where his mother was cooking whilst they were waiting for his father to come.
"Yes?"
"Oh wait. Let me help you first." He said, getting plates to set the dinner table.
Once he was done with the table his mother asked what was he going to say.
Brian smiled. "I'm going on a date this week-end. I mean I invited him on a date and he accepted."
"Oh really! Who is he?"
"Mom...who was the boy I liked for a while now?" Brian smirked.
His mom's eyes opened wide with a smile appearing on her lips.
"Brian..."
"Yeeeees?"
"Is it...Is it Roger!?"
"Yes!!!"
"Oh son!" His mother exclaimed, embracing him even though her son was taller than her.
They heard the knock on the door and went to open it.
"Harold! Our son is taking a boy on a date!!!"
Harold looked at son with impressed eyes.
"Wow Brian! Who is it?""Rog..."
"Oh my God! Are you serious!?"
"Yeah dad! It's amazing! Isn't it?"
"It really is. I'm proud of you son."
His dad first hugged his son and then his wife.
"Oh and..." Brian started. "Thank you so much for accepting me..."
His parents both smiled at him with a soft expression in their faces.

Freddie came home and he was feeling like a feather. All dizzy. His mom opened the door and his dad was on the couch, reading a newspaper.
"Farrokh, you look happy. How was your day at school?" She smiled.
"Well like hell actually but I found out something..." He said both of them moving to the living room where his father was.
"What did you learn?"
"Mama...John likes me back!"
Jer covered his mouth, looking almost as excited as Freddie.
"Ah! That's amazing!"They heard a sigh from his father as he folded the newspaper. He was more of a traditional person and liked to read the news from straight paper rather than on his phone. They turned to him.
"Sit down Farrohk."
Freddie obeyed his father's order.
"I respect your decision, okay? You can lead your life as you want and I'm, of course, not going to stop you from being gay. Look son, I wasn't born and raised in a culture like this. Neither in a time. Your mother got used to it but I just couldn't. Yes, you're going to have boyfriends, maybe even a husband and I will look at him as my son as well. I'm going to support you two. But, I'm gonna ask you to do a favor. Please don't talk about these topics when I'm around. I don't hate gays. Don't ever think that. It's just...I couldn't really get used to the idea of it. You understand?"
Freddie looked down for a second but looked up back at his father again. He nodded and smiled.
Saturday
I have NOTHING to wear... John thought, looking at every piece of clothing in his cupboard. He finally decided on a pair of jeans and a black t-shirt. He dressed up and went straight into the bathroom where the biggest mirror in their house was. He fixed his clothes and brushed his hair. Should he tie his hair? Nah, long waves were better. He sprayed some cologne.
Oh shit.
The deodorant! He forgot about the deodorant! He ran back to his room.
