A few days later...

John's POV

He's my best friend.

He's been my best friend for five years now and I have serious feelings for him.

He has always been kind and caring and he grew more and more attractive and charismatic as the years passed by. I love every little thing about him.
I love the way his raven hair slightly moves as he walks.
I love the way he smiles even though he doesn't like it.
I love his voice.
I love the way he looks and cares about me.
I love it when he's confident.
I love it when he's shy.
I absolutely love it when he's happy.

Gosh.

I'm totally in love with him.

Comfort is where he's at. Not going to lie, he has an effect on me breaking up with Zach because every time he scorned me, every time he yelled slurs at me, every time he pushed me and every time he humiliated me there was only one name that came to my mind.

Freddie.

I never knew how only a name could have this much effect on somebody. Every time Zach made me feel bad, I just wanted to run to him, hug him and cry into his shoulder.

I remember it clearly. On the sixth month of our relationship which lasted for seven months, I started catching feelings for Freddie. I felt very guilty about it back then. I felt like I was cheating. I simply couldn't help it. Every time I cried, I remember thinking: If it was Freddie, he would never ever do this...

Zach was the one who broke me down, made me collapse and Freddie was the one who healed my wounds. He didn't know about Zach back then so I couldn't talk with him. Though, just a simple thought about him is enough for me to smile and wipe my tears away, calming down a bit.

And now, there was him, sitting a few desks away with Roger. My gaze lingering over him but him not realizing. I couldn't concentrate to the lesson but honestly I couldn't care less.

"John?" I heard the teacher and turned to her that second.

"Yes, Mrs. Linsay?"

"Concentrate please, hm?"

"Okay, I'm sorry."

I just want to go tell him that I don't like him anymore but love him. I want us to be together and never separate. Maybe I'm wanting too much but I really want it.

I started to do my work not to get any more warnings from the teacher, trying to concentrate only on maths.

Third person POV

It was recess and everybody was hanging out in their own terms. Some of them running, some chatting, some shooting TikToks...

Alice and Catherine were, of course, one of those who were shooting TikToks. They were doing the 'Lottery', or more commonly known as, the 'Renegade' dance.

They tried for a bit and finally decided to try something new.
Teach Roger to do TikTok dances.

"Rog!" Alice said, tugging at his sleeve to get him to stand up from his chair to drag him where the phone and Catherine was.
