Roger slightly shivered, still in Brian's arms.

"Let's get you back home. You're gonna catch a cold."

Brian wrapped and arm around his shoulder, pulling him close in order to keep him warm. They walked, Roger getting warmer with each step, with his boyfriend's arm around him. Once they were there, Roger knocked.

"Bri won't you want to come in? You'll get cold like this."

Roger asked and Clare opened the door at that second with their mother coming after her.

"Hey." Roger said, coming in. He looked over his shoulder, giving his boyfriend the cutest shy smile and the most innocent big blue eyes that Brian couldn't resist.

Brian didn't know what to do. Would it be rude if he just walked in? Luckily, Roger saved the day.

"Mom, can Bri come in?"

"Of course!" She said with a smile. "Aw Brian, honey. We already know you. Just because you are now dating my son doesn't mean you have to be anxious. Just act like before."

"Exactly!" Roger winked at him, giving his mother a smile.

"Thanks." Brian said shyly, coming in. They say down and Clare sat down next to them. Roger stared at her.

"Clare?"

"Yes?"

"Ummm, can I get a bit of privacy with my boyfriend please?"

"But I'm curious!!!" She insisted, bouncing on the couch, swinging her legs.

"Ah, I even said 'please'..."

"Okayyyy." She said with a sigh. "Since you said the magic word, I'll sit on the other couch."

"Thank you."

They started whispering. Every once in a while, Clare saw both of them and blush at one another's words which made her grow more and more curious. She sat up and went to where her mother was.

"Mom."

"Yes sweetie?"

"Roger wouldn't let me listen to what he and Brian are talking about." She said and looked down with sad eyes.

"How did he tell you to not to listen?"

"He said 'please'."

"Okay then. He asked you politely so it's alright." She knelt down to her level. "Look sweetheart, they are a couple and they're in love, okay? You already know that. Sometimes people like to talk with their partners alone. They have every right to. It's nothing about you. Look, you know how close Roger and Alice are. Though, she might have been here and Roger wouldn't like her to listen as well! It's a bit hard for you to understand now but when you get into a relationship, I'm pretty sure that you'll do the same to Roger." She chuckled and her daughter smiled.

"But I'm still veeeeery curious."

Her mother laughed. "I'm afraid you'll have to live with that curiosity then."
She kissed her temple and the girl hugged her before going back to the living room.

"Ummm, Roger?"

The couple jerked a little when they heard the voice since they were practically staring and Roger turned to his sister.

"Yes?" He said, clearly a bit annoyed.

She came closer.
"I'm sorry that I tried to listen earlier."

Roger lifted his eyebrows up, not expecting to hear this.

"You two are a couple and I shouldn't have made you uncomfortable."
