I nearly forgot to publish this- sorry it's so late! I was out with friends and we ended up seing a movie and shopping for a bit, but I remembered to finish up and release the next chapter of my beloved story at the last minute! Without further ado, to Lumiose City we go! The quadruplets have quite a few things to catch up on in theirhome town...

On the final stretch of land until Lumiose City, our heroes ran into Tierno, one of their friends from Summer Camp, and he had a double battle with Ash. His Sliggoo evolved into Goodra, and he took the win over Tierno and his Wartortle and other team members.

After the exciting turn of events, they finally reached the city. Zenith apologized before running off, having to go to her interview, while Shadow left to check in with the Professor and Pine went to work in the battle facility. Crystal and Red stayed with Ash, Serena, and Bonnie.

As the fabulous honey blonde (Zenith, not Serena; I said fabulous, not spoiled and bratty.) made her way into the building, she passed a few sets before meeting up with a worried-looking Alexa. Once she realized the champion was there, however, she set her phone down with a relieved sigh.

"Thank goodness you're here, Zenith, I was afraid you weren't going to show," the lead journalist and older sister of the gym leader Viola exhaled. "Let's begin."

"Any time, Lex, you know I'd never cancel for you guys," Zenith replied happily.

"So, any inside information on the recent power outage in Lumiose? My sources say something happened at the power plant, but they don't know for sure," the peppy light brunette began, pad of paper at the ready.

Zenith folded her hands in her lap. "I always have the 'inside information' thanks to my Champion radio. Some evil-doers tried to take the Kalos Power Plant over, but my sisters and I, along with Lumiose City Gym Leader Clemont, were able to bring everything back to working order."

"Ah, what a lifesaver! What about the upcoming Showcase in Dendemille Town, any new performers that may try to steal your spotlight?" Alexa continued.

This caused a chuckle from the Kalos Queen. "Two of my sisters, the infamous Cute'n'Cool duo of Crystal and Pine Sawyer, will have the chance to earn their third Princess Keys and enter the Master Class to challenge me again. I'm a bit worried, as they've gotten good, but I'll give it my all. The big news is my other sister, Shadow Sawyer, who after a two-year hiatus, will be performing with us again. To all my other competitors, I wish them the best of luck in fulfilling their dreams, but I certainly won't be going easy on them."

"Fascinating," Alexa murmured as she scribbled down what the honey blonde said, headphones ever-present around her neck. "You Sawyer Sisters never cease to amaze me. Anyways, one more question and then you can go."

"Alright, bring it on!" Zenith said enthusiastically.

Alexa's tone grew grim and serious, and her smile changed to an interrogative frown. "Do you have any information on the Galarian Channel freezing over in the midst of this summer?"

"The what?!" Zenith asked. "I haven't been informed. Do you have anything that might give clue me in?"

The woman nodded. "An anonymous person reported signs of strange activity on a small island, and when police went to investigate, the whole channel froze over before a loud explosion went off under the water. Sources are beginning to suspect some form of sorcery."

Zenith's stomach dropped, and she flinched when she heard Alexa's words. The woman noticed this.

"Hey, Zenith, are you alright?" But the champion couldn't hear her, couldn't wrap her mind around what she heard and what it could mean.
