Pokemon: The Queen of Kalos

Chaos and Capturing

Last time we were here, Skarmory had attacked Ninja Village, but by who? And what do they want? Well, time to find out!

Crystal, Pine, and Sanpei lead the rest of our heroes until they reached the Chief's house, rushing inside. "Chief, it's me!" The latter called.

"Oh, Sanpei and your friends!" He said, Shinobu beside him.

"My brothers told us to come to your place and wait!"

Crystal looked down, noticing a strange sparkling mist spreading across the floor. She barely had time to shout, "Everyone, look out!" before the gust picked up, freezing air catching them all off guard. In the entrance were two figures, but it was too dark to make out who they were or what they looked like.

"Who are you?" Shinobu demanded, stepping forward. "State your names, now."

One man stepped into the light, revealing a Haxorus mask that covered his face. "Now then, Hanzo, Chief of Ninja Village, you'll be coming with us!" He raised a hand, and black smoke filled the room, and Ariados jumping forward and catching the Chief in a String Shot before pulling him away. The man leapt over the edge before the others could tell what was happening, followed by his other various Pokemon.

"Oh no, Hanzo!"

"Pika!"

"You bring Hanzo back!" Ash called after them, Froagidier and Greninja already at their trainers' sides. Crystal and Pine rushed out beside them, Crystal releasing her Greninja and Pine releasing her Lucario.

"Release our Chief right away!"

The four of them and their Pokemon all jumped the balcony rails and started chasing after them, ignoring Serena's cries behind them. "Ash, no, don't leave me!!!" She tried following, but chickened out, and then got reprimanded by Shinobu. "But my Ashhhhhhhhhhhh..."

Back in the town square, Ippei had his Greninja shooting Skarmory away with Water Shuriken, and Venusaur was shooting more Razor Leaves, but the flying Pokemon kept evading. Even Zenith was having trouble landing hits, and eventually returned Noivern and switched to Zoroark and Ninetales, trapping them with Pursuit and catching them off guard with Will-O-Wisp.

Shadow was still working from the skies with Salamence, but was having similar bad luck. Thankfully, some of the villagers began coming to their aid across the village. Two had some of the elemental monkeys who fired off Ice Beams and Bullet Seed, but it still wasn't enough.

Then, Zenith noticed a plume of smoke coming from one of the cave exits, and what looked like people and Pokemon running away. At first she thought it was the rest of her friends, but she quickly realized they were strangers to the village. Ash, Sanpei, her remaining two sisters, and their Pokemon were chasing after them, as well. The man in the Haxorus mask was getting away, and another in an Lairon mask stepped out to stop our heroes.

She then noticed more movement out of the corner of her eyes, seeing Serena, Shinobu, Clemont, and Bonnie running to find Ippei.

Lastly, there was movement in the sky, and a familiar Meowth balloon flew over the village, and a pink-haired figure within it tossed down a shining object.

Great, just great, this is exactly what we needed! An attack, a kidnapping, a distraction, a bother with the rest of our friends, and Team Rocket to top it off!

At least one of the Skarmory's Flash Cannons managed to hit Team Rocket's device, but it just ended up hitting Serena and Shinobu, tying the two up together.

Well, I guess that's two problems dealt with and another to deal with later?

A quick glance told her Lairon man had released a Bisharp, but Pine's Lucario was already charging up a Brick Break and prepared to send it flying all the way to Galar.

"Team Rocket!" Exclaimed almost everyone in the vicinity as they noticed the Meowth balloon descend, but the cat in question seemed rather miffed.

"Yipes! You try to catch a Pokemon and you wind up with two twerpettes instead!"

"'Scuse me, those two don't need a fan club!" Jessie exclaimed, and Wobbuffet exclaimed its name in agreement.

Suddenly, Shinobu disappeared in a cloud of pink smoke, leaving Serena in what looked to be a glorified glowing dog collar. The ninja reappeared by the two older brothers, completely unharmed. "Double yipes!"

"What happened to you!?"

Clemont grinned. "That was a ninja body switch!"

"It's the power of the ninja," the pink-haired woman said simply.

Then, the Skarmory rushed at Team Rocket's balloon and send them blasting off yet again with Flash Cannons.

Thank goodness they're gone, at least.

The others had gotten their Pokemon to charge up their attacks, but the Lairon man must have underestimated the power of a battle trainer's full-powered Lucario using a 4x supereffective move, and Bisharp was almost immediately immobilized. Pine dusted her hands off and coolly gave her partner Pokemon a fist bump.

"B-but how!? In only one attack-? Well, then take this!" He returned Bisharp and released a Bronzong instead. Water Pulse, Water Shurikens, an Electro Ball, and a Thunder Punch were all launched at it, but it used Metal Sound and forced everyone to stop and cover their ears, then retaliated with Rock Slide, which damaged all of their Pokemon.

The next time it tried attacking, Ash managed to get it trapped with Froagdier's Frubbles, which allowed Sanpei's Greninja to Night Slash it and Crystal's to Lick it. Then it broke out of the Frubbles and used Extrasensory, knocking down Sanpei's. Pikachu shot back with Thunderbolt, which gave Pine's Lucario enough time to jump in and use Meteor Mash. Still, it wasn't enough, and Bronzong prepared another, more powerful Rock Slide.

Suddenly, a Barbaracle jumped in front and completely absorbed the attack.

"Woah, check it out!" Ash said.

"Saizo, you're here!" Sanpei exclaimed as the other ninja jumped down.

"So sorry I'm late." He turned to his Pokemon. "Razor Shell." That finally took it out, and Lairon man didn't have any Pokemon left. He claimed he had bought enough time, though, returning his Pokemon and leaping off the cliff, one of the Skarmory catching him on its back and flying off.

Darn it! Crystal thought. They still have the Chief!

Ash and Sanpei tried to chase after the Lairon man, but Saizo stopped them and told them it wouldn't be of any use. Their main goal was to rescue Hanzo, who had already fallen into the enemies' hands, so they couldn't act carelessly. "We need to create a plan."

"First we should regroup with the others. Someone will need to stay behind to guard the village, but the rest should pursue the enemies from a distance. If we find out their plan and catch them off guard, we could rescue Chief Hanzo!" Pine suggested.

"It's a good start. C'mon, we don't have much time to lose."
