Y/n POV Natsu looks up at me, betrayal in his eyes. "Did I... Do something wrong..?" He questions, blaming himself. I shake my head saying 'no'. "Why didn't I notice. I'm so dumb. I could've saved you from this if I wasn't so dumb!" Natsu yells. "Don't blame yourself, Natsu. It's me. The thoughts in my he-" I stop myself as Natsu looks up at me. "What thoughts?" (HA BEGONE THOTS!)
I shake my head and bury my head in his neck, crying. Natsu's grip on me tightens. We sit there. Crying.
Time skip to 12 AM
The building shakes. I hear Erza scream from the other room and soon enough, we all look out our windows to see a flying cube. Apparently it's our first challenge to limit the hundred or so teams down to 8.
Once we're all on, we immediately run into a wall. "Y/n, Gray! Use your ice to make a path for us to slip on!" Natsu yells while Erza and Lucy sweat drop. Gray and I look at each other and we get ready. "Ice make..." "Ice Dragon..." "PATH!" The entire cube turns to ice as we hear everyone else fall on their butts while we slide. We pass many teams but never pass Saber Tooth of Fairy Tail B.
Once at the end we realize... We got 8th.... Fairy Tail B got... SECOND!?!?!?!?
Our jaws drop when we see the looks on Sabertooth member's faces. Pure amusement. We all get teleported to our hotels after being told to go to bed.
I walk towards my bed in my shared room with Natsu, Happy and Daisy. Daisy is chilling on the mini couch that faces towards the window while happy turns on and off the lamps repeatedly and Natsu in already asleep. I plop myself onto my bed and just look up towards the flashing ceiling, counting the bumps all over it.
"Hey, y/n?" I hear a tiny voice say. "Yes, Happy?" I reply, stopping my counting of the bumps to sit up against the bed to face the blue figure. He ends his switching with the light off, the only light in the room comes from the moon that shines through the window, his figure shadowed by the lack of light.
He slowly walks towards me and I see his face, pure sadness. "Do you... Do you think we will win the Magic Games?" He lifts his face up to mine and looks at me dead in the eye. "Yes, we're Fairy Tail! We never give up!" I smile happily. "Y/n, please make sure we win. I trust you to encourage everyone to keep going ang to never give up." "I will.." "Promise?" Happy looks over at me with hope in his eyes. I nod and respond. "I promise."
Time skip (I edit the games to make it different I am sorry if that makes anyone mad but like, yeet)
Day one of the Grand Magic games, I put on my uniform

I finish doing my hair and begin bandaging up my legs to cover the scars I have made on them. I try my hardest not to look at them knowing if I do it'll ruin my day. A tiny knock can be heard at my door, "Y/n? You coming?" Daisy... "Yes Daisy, I am soon enough." I respond turning back to my cuts. "May I come in?" I freeze. I have a hard time saying no to her. I quickly finish up saying a "One second!" with a cheery voice. I finish and then let her in to see how I look.
"Y/n! You look beautiful!" Daisy exclaims hugging me. "Thanks girlie!!" I smile laughing as she pushes me over a bit. "Now, let's go kick some butt!" I exclaim happily. As her and I run out of the room towards the arena.
Time skip to the arena. I go to My booth as Daisy meets Lily and Happy at the Watching Booth for Fairy Tail. I walk in, opening the door and closing it quietly but of course Wendy and Natsu hear me. They really do have good hearing. Them turning around causes Erza, Lucy and Gray to look over too. "Y/n! I love it! You're so cute!" Lucy yells, causing all of Fairy Tail to look over, even Team B.
I blush from embarrassment but I smile through it. I then look towards Natsu who seems to be blushing but quickly covers it with a smile. "You really do look beau- amazing y/n." Natsu grins towards me. Did I just hear that right? Did he almost say... beautiful? No... I'm not good enough for him. he probably likes Cana... Or Lucy. Maybe even Erza. They're all beautiful women! I'm just... 'me'.
"Hello Wizards and Witches, Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the Annual Grand Magic Games!" Cheers erupt from the crowd as all guilds are told to go into the 'ready area' and wait to be called.
"Fairy Tail A" "Mermaid Heel" "Quatro pu- I mean..." "Lamia Scale" "Rose Quartz" Cheers get louder as we hear Rose Quartz. I look up and see... HER. Krystal. She grins towards me and winks and I hear a growl come from Natsu. "Raven Tail!" "Fairy Tail Team B" and our favorite guild in the entire world and also number one.... Saber Tooth!" Cheers. They're the obvious favorite.
"Now teams, pick your contestants and prepare for Hidden! Hidden is a game where one person from each team will join in around the town and have many clones of themeslves, your job is to find your opponents but the 'real ones'! If you hit a fake more than three times, you're out!"
Fairy Tail Team B goes and huddles in a circle, i hear whispers of arguing going on as our team A stares at eachother in confusion. Sabertooth's Rufus is the first to walk up towards the middle. "Who should we send?" Lucy asks as we huddle into a circle. "I don't really know, maybe a dragon slayer?" I ask. "No, we need to save them for later, plus, they'll all probably smell the same. That's why Sting or Rogue didn't go in." Erza Replies, being more observant than any of us. "I'll go. To start us off." Gray raises his hand, with a determined look on his face. I nod. "Doesn't seem like too much of a bad idea, later on Gray could give us some info on the others and how they attack so we'll be prepared..." I suggest. "Fine Gray it is!" Erza exclaims as she earns a scoff from Natsu. "What was that... Natsu?" Erza death glares. "N-Nothing Ms. Erza!" He salutes hiding behind me crouching and looking over my shoulder.
I walk away from Natsu and go to hug Gray. "Good luck big bro!" I smile, hugging him like he's going to die. Honestly, he might. "Thanks lil sis, I'll do good, for you." He says determined. "...Annndddd for Juvia over there..." Lucy and Wendy giggle. "Shut it!" He stops hugging me to yell at the pair.
Gray begins walking to the middle and right then, Juvia begins walking towards the middle as well. All the teams have decided so the rest walk into their balconies. I give Gray and Juvia the 'I'll always be with you sign' as he does it back, and then Juvia does also.
"Now that the contestants have been chosen, it is time to begin!!" They all teleport and lacrimas show, first starting off with a man with purple hair and blue eyes. I look for a marking of guild and I see Krystal's mark. He's part of her guild... Rose Quartz.
