Breaking The Ice (Natsu x Depressed Reader)

Chapter 32

Y/n POV

I wake up to some nice sun shining through the window. I look to my side to see two glasses of water on the table. To my other side I see a sleeping Natsu.

I carefully sit up, avoiding touching his cuts and bruises and grab the water, taking small sips at a time.

After I take a few small sips I look over to Natsu. His eyes closed and his lips slightly parted, his spiky hair falling on one side. I take a hand and brush through his hair carefully, it seems fairly tangly and slightly greasy, seeing as he hasn't been able to take a shower for days because he's been sleeping.

I lightly brush through his salmon hair and slowly untangle it, making sure I don't wake him up.

Knock knock knock.

My body lightly jerks as my head turns towards the door. "Come in..." my raspy voice automatically says, without me even realizing.

"Ah, y/n." Mira smiles as she walks in, followed by Lucy Erza and this random girl I don't know.

"We just wanted you to meet the new member of Fairy Tail. "Her name is Touka!" Mira smiles. Touka's eyes grow wide as she spots Natsu, hearts forming on her eye. (Yes yes I know she comes later on during the 100 year quest but I thought this would be more fun to add her in now)

"My love, Natsu~San!" She screams as she runs over, arms spread wide, until she stops, the hearts disappearing and she drops her arms. "You..." she points towards me.

"Me? Yes?" I tilt my head in confusion. "You... my Natsu... Natsu is cheating on me..." she cries.

"Wait? C-cheating?" I stutter on my words. My heart dropping 6 feet under before my body can get there first. I feel it all coming back, all the sadness. All the pain I've felt over the years that Natsu has somehow fixed temporarily.

"Yes! Natsu is mine! Not yours!" Touka screams. "Wait, since when did Natsu have a girlfriend that wasn't y/n!!! I wanted him and y/n together!" Erza screams as she throws a chair into the wall.

"Well.. I wouldn't say Natsu agreed to dating me yet, but in my head he is mine!" Touka screams. I come back to reality. "Wait... so you're mad he's with me but you're not even dating?" I deadpan at the girl.

"Yes, but he's mine and will be mine! Even if I have to kill you for him!" Touka screams as she lunges herself at me. I cover my head with my forearms as I prepare for impact but when I open my eyes I just see Erza, grabbing Touka by her... TAIL?!?!

"KYAAAAOWWIEEEE!!!" Touka yells as Erza drops her on the ground. "Y/n is injured, leave her along." Erza threatens as Touka shivers.

"Now tell me, how did you and Natsu meet???" Erza kneels over Touka.

"Well, he saved me from Bandits awhile back. I fell instantly in love when I saw his haaandsome features..." Touka drools.

I slowly sit up, then stand up and limp over to Touka. "Hey, I know you might think you like him, but what's his personality like?" I ask her. "Well HES a brave warrior, mysterious, doesn't care for anyone but that cat, quiet... dreamyyyyyy..." I slap her to make her shut up.

"Touka, you got him all wrong. He's funny, outgoing, strong, brave, cares for everyone, sometimes even if you're the enemy or have wronged him, he's over protective and would do anything to protect his family. Everyone knows him so if you think he's quiet and mysterious, you fell for the wrong man lady." I lecture her and she begins to shiver again.

She hides behind Lucy as Erza and i glare at her, Mira just giggles, trying not to start much, which I understand. She hates going into her Satan souls unless she absolutely has to.
