Ash

Ash hadn't known what happened to him after he'd woken up in the hospital. The last thing he could remember was running, trying to get to the airport to catch Eiji before he left to go back to Japan. Then, before he knew what happened, he was bleeding out, and lost consciousness on the side of the street; when he woke up, he was in the hospital. When he realized he'd missed his chance to see Eiji, he didn't know what to do. He couldn't fathom a life without Eiji in it, but now it was too late. Eiji was long gone, and Ash was alone.

That was 6 months ago, and just a few days ago, Ash had been moved to another hospital, but he wasn't able to stay there long. Ash and his gang had thought they had seen the last of Dino's lackeys, but they were proven incorrect because Ash was currently being chased down an alleyway by those same lackeys.

Ugh, I'm too weak to outrun them, and I don't even have my gun to defend myself! He thought desperately, "I need my gang."

Suddenly, he heard the loud roar of an engine. He heard it getting closer, it was coming from the end of the alley! He was heading right towards it, but he couldn't stop now, he was still being chased by Dino's lackeys; he couldn't fight either. The only option was to keep running forward, towards the unknown. When he reached the end of the alley, he was deciding which way to turn when a group of motorcyclists pulled up right in front of him. There were too many just to be a coincidence, and realization dawned on him.

This must be a biker gang! Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse.

He couldn't distinguish any of the bikers, they all wore dark shades and black leather. Only one caught his attention. The man in the front, he must be the boss. He had jet black hair and a lean figure. Other than that, he looked just like the other bikers. However, something seemed familiar about him. Something made Ash want to trust him, something he didn't quite understand himself. He didn't have time to dwell on it though. The guys behind him were almost on him, and the bikers were blocking his path. He turned to the bikers, ready to push past them, until he saw the boss hold his hand out to him.

"Get on", he said.

Ash didn't move, he only stared at the man. Was this guy serious? Why should he trust them? Yet, a part of him wanted to take this mans hand and ride off with him. He didn't know anything about him, but his gut told him it would be okay. So, with no further argument, Ash let the man help him onto his bike. Now that they were this close, Ash could swear he knew this man, but that wasn't possible, right? This guy was the boss of a biker gang, probably one of the strongest ones as far as he could see. He resolved to think about it more later, as the lackeys had caught up.

"Hold on tight", the boss said.

So, with only a little hesitation, Ash slid his arms around the man as the boss gave his men a signal and they took off, leaving the lackeys in the dust to stare at the bikers backs.

"Well, better go tell the boss. There's no getting Ash now, he's been taken by The Jade Samurai", one of the lackeys said.

"The one and only."
