Chapter 5 Making New Friends

Hey guys, I hope your enjoing my book so far. I'd like to tell you a heads up that this chatper will be in 3rd person point of view. ^-^ So where we go, on with the story!

Kacey couldn't believe gym class was so kaotic. First thing that happened was some cheerleaders were fighting over who was going to homecoming with the school's  quarter back. Once that was over, Player # 3 decides that Kacey was "his girl", wrapping his arms around her waist and kissed her on the cheek. Little did he know, Kacey gave him a quick punch in the face and dropped kicked him. (Learned from training with Josh) Everyone was laughing at him, and he got up running out the gym. Kacey couldn't understand what was going on in that boys head.

'First he is  nice to me in math class, and now he's claming me as his girl. Who does he think he is?' Kacey thought. 
All throughout gym class Kacey was anxious about seeing Josh in science class. Maddie kept making fun of Kacey when she got lost in her own thoughts about Josh. It was pretty funny when the soccor ball hit her face, beacuse she was so clueless of what's going on.

Gym finally ended, so then Kacey and Maddison were on their way to science class excitedly. They sat in their seats in the middle of the room. They looked around the room, but there was no sign of Josh. Just in time, Josh entered the room as the late bell rang. As he walked in, Kacey and Josh held a gaze at each other. Josh was so happy, but shocked at the same time to see Kacey. Kacey was the first one to break the gaze looking at her desk, having her hair covered her red cheeks. Their was surprisingly an empty desk right behind Kacey and that turned out to be Josh's assigned seat.

Josh sat in his seat and said, "Well, well, well. We meet again Miss."

"U-uh, ya looks like you are a stalker eh?" Kacey said smirking back.

"A what?" Josh asked.

"First, you stalk me at my locker, and now you've stalked me into my science class." Kacey said sticking her tounge at him.

Josh looked a little hurt, but said "Oh no! You found out my plans!" jokingly.

Typical Maddie giving thumbs up to Kacey and a wink as the teacher walked in.  Mrs.Lawyson started to teach the class about genes. There is a project due next week on Tuesday. The teacher explained that they will be working with partners. Basically having to pretend to be a married couple and finding out the genes of their offspring. Each partner will interniew each other learning what types of dominate and recessive genes they have. This was Kacey and Josh's chance to learn more about each other.

Josh's POV

I was so happy that my angelic voiced angel is in my science class. If I knew that I would of saw her yesterday in science class; and I would of never went to the meeting. This project was a great opportunity to finally get to know Kacey more.

I took my first chance and asked, "Hey Miss, would you like to be my partner for the science project?"

"U-uh, sure why not." Kacey answered looking at Maddie and then me giving a smile as Maddie gave her a nod.

"That's great do you want to get started on it now?"I asked dying to know who she got her good looks from.

"Yea, its better starting early than late, right?" Kacey said.

"Yup." I quickly replied.

Science class was over and I learned alot about her. She got her looks from her mom, but she has her dads facial appearances. Kacey still has her baby face and her dad had a baby face for a long time, too.

Kacey was a little glum after we were talking about her parents. I didnt ask any questions, I just assumed maybe they got in a fight or something.

Walking Kacey to her brothers car, Kacey gave me her number to call her so we can chat more about the project. I was so thrilled to have her number; it was hard not to fist pump the air and say 'YESS!!'.

'This does not fit my cool, popular, rich, spy, personality of mine.' I thought to myself.

"What are you doing with our little sister!" Two guys said at the same time.

"Sorry guys, I'm just a friend." "My name is Josh." I said not wanting to get on their bad side.

"Ohh your that Josh guy, Kacey was talking about at lunch." One of the brothers said.

I thought to myself, 'Awe my little angel was talking about me.'

"Blaine, shut up! He's my new buddy now." Kacey jumped into the conversation.

I could tell she was embarrassed of what her brother said, by seeing the red fading to pink cheek.

"Sorry sis." "Josh, you are on good terms with us since we know who you are." Blaine said as they all got in the orange lamborghini.

I backed up out the way as they started to drive off. Waving goodbye, I walked to my car with a smile on my face. I looked down at the piece of paper with Kacey's number. I got in my green lamborghini, and copyed her number onto my phone.

I thought to myself, 'I need a picture of her on my phone so I can put it has her Id.'

I got home and did my homework. When I was done, I decided to call her.

It happened so fast pushing on her contact name. The phone rang for a few seconds.

"Hello?" Asweet angelic voice said.

I APPOLGIZE IF THIS CHAPTER SHORT. THIS LAPTOP WAS BEING A PAIN AND KEPT FREEZING AND I HAD TO RESTART IT ALOT AND WITHOUT SAVING THE CHAPTER XD. BUT I GOT THROUGH IT AND YES I WENT INTO JOSH'S POV BECAUSE THRID PERSON POV WAS GETTING BORING.
